It is an add-on kit that mounts to the open side of a Weather Guard EZGLIDE2 compact drop-down rack (Model 2261-3-01), giving that side its own damped drop-down plus a center cross member for shorter, mixed ladder lengths. On a small van where roof space is tight, running one ladder on each side keeps both easy to reach and load at waist height rather than stacking them. It is not a standalone rack: the compact base rack has to be installed first. Everything else is pure EZGLIDE2, smooth rollers on dual hydraulic dampers, interlocking supports, and roughly 50 percent easier operation, in lightweight aluminum with a Brite White ARMOR-TUF finish that matches the base rack.

What's Included:

EZGLIDE2 compact dual drop-down conversion kit for the second side, aluminum

Center cross member for carrying different ladder lengths

Smooth-roller drop-down mechanism with dual hydraulic dampers

Interlocking ladder supports

Locking latch for the raised position

Stainless steel mounting hardware

Weather Guard installation instructions

Note: requires the compact base rack Model 2261-3-01, sold separately

Features

Two Ladders On A Compact Van
This kit adds a drop-down to the open side of a compact EZGLIDE2 rack so a small van can carry a ladder on each side.
