Haul ladders, lumber, pipe and long loads over the cab and free up your whole bed with the Weather Guard 1275-52-02 full-size steel truck rack. This over-bed ladder rack is built from formed steel tubing, carries up to 1,000 pounds evenly distributed, and finishes in a tough matte black powder coat that shrugs off weather and jobsite wear. Adjustable front legs and a true no-drill stake-pocket mount let one rack fit full-size short and long beds without putting a single hole in your truck.
What's Included:
Front cross member with welded airfoil wind deflector
Two steel side rails with tie-down points
Third steel cross member with removable rear pins
Four adjustable steel legs
No-drill stake-pocket mounting clamps and hardware
No-drill installation kit for 2016 and newer Chevy and GMC trucks
Weather Guard assembly and installation instructions
Features
1,000 lb Load Rating The full-size steel rack carries up to 1,000 pounds evenly distributed, so it handles heavy extension ladders, bundles of lumber, pipe and conduit day after day. Formed steel tubing and welded joints give it the backbone to keep working under a full load.
True No-Drill Install The rack clamps into your bed stake pockets with high-strength mounting hardware, so you never drill a hole in your bed rails. That protects your truck from rust and keeps the rack easy to remove or move to your next truck down the road.
Adjustable For Full-Size Beds The front legs slide to match your bed length, giving one rack a universal fit across full-size short and long beds. Set it once to your truck and the crossbars line up right where you need them over the cab and tailgate.
Welded Airfoil Cuts Drag A welded airfoil on the front cross member deflects wind up and over your load. That trims drag and cuts down the wind noise and buffeting you get from an open rack at highway speed.
Tie-Downs All Around Every leg has a built-in tie-down loop and the side rails add four more anchor points, so you can strap loads down tight from multiple angles. Long, awkward loads stay put whether you are on the highway or a rough site road.
Matte Black Steel Build Formed steel legs, rails and cross members wear a matte black powder coat that stands up to sun, salt and scrapes. Removable pins on the rear cross member let you pull that bar in seconds to drop in tall or bulky loads.
Full-size 3/4 and 1-ton (F-250/350, RAM 2500/3500, Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD)
Yes, adjustable universal fit
Full-size Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan
Yes, confirm a standard stake-pocket bed
Mid-size and compact (Ranger, Colorado, Tacoma, Frontier, Maverick)
No, this is the full-size rack
This is a universal full-size rack rather than a bolt-on for one model. Adjustable front legs let it match full-size short and long beds, and it mounts with no-drill clamps that seat in the bed's stake pockets, so the bed must have factory stake pockets. 2016 and newer Chevrolet and GMC trucks use the included no-drill installation kit. The rack stands about 35.9 in above the bed rails, so check garage, carport and drive-thru clearance before ordering, and always measure your bed and confirm your load is rated and strapped within the 1,000 lb evenly distributed limit.
Fitment checked before shipping: we confirm your truck and bed fit this truck ladder rack before it leaves the warehouse, so you get the right fit the first time.

Installation
Type: Bed stake-pocket mount, no-drill · Time: About 1 hour · Tools: Basic socket and wrench set; no drilling required on trucks with standard stake pockets · Difficulty: Easy to moderate, a second person helps when lifting and setting the rack
Assemble the four legs, two side rails and three cross members, set the rack into the bed, then seat and tighten the high-strength clamps in the stake pockets so nothing is drilled. On 2016 and newer Chevrolet and GMC trucks use the included no-drill kit. Slide the front legs to fit your bed length so the crossbars sit right over the cab, then load and strap using the leg loops and side-rail tie-down points. Follow the Weather Guard install instructions for clamp torque and placement, and re-check the clamps after the first loaded drive.

It is designed as a universal full-size rack. The front legs adjust to match full-size short and long beds, and it clamps into your factory stake pockets with no drilling, so your bed needs standard stake pockets. 2016 and newer Chevrolet and GMC trucks use the included no-drill kit. It is not made for mid-size or compact trucks.
Do I have to drill holes in my truck?
No. This is a true no-drill rack that seats in the bed's stake pockets and locks down with high-strength clamps. That keeps your bed rails intact and rust-free and makes the rack easy to remove later or move to another truck.
How much weight can it carry?
The rack is rated for up to 1,000 pounds evenly distributed. Spread heavy loads across both crossbars, strap them down at several points, and stay within that limit for safe hauling.
Does the rack cause a lot of wind noise?
A welded airfoil on the front cross member pushes air up and over your load, which cuts drag and reduces the wind noise and buffeting you get from an open rack at highway speed.
Can I get into the bed with the rack installed?
Yes. The legs sit at the bed rails and leave the bed floor open, and the rear cross member has removable pins so you can pull that bar in seconds to load tall or bulky items, then drop it back in.
What is the finish and is it covered by a warranty?
It is formed steel with a matte black powder coat that resists sun, salt and scrapes, and it is backed by a Weather Guard Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
