Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Does this include the case?

No. This is mounting hardware only. You need a DECKED D-co Honcho 80 case, bought separately, for this kit to do anything. The kit is the plates, bolts and nuts that fasten that case down.

Which version do I need, CargoGlide or T-Track?

Match it to what you are mounting to. This is the CargoGlide kit. The CargoGlide version ships with spacers and threaded inserts for mounting onto a CargoGlide tray or a flat surface; the T-Track version ships with M6 T-slot nuts that slide into a T-track on roof rails, roof racks or a bed rack. The hardware is different and the kits are not interchangeable.

Do I have to drill the case?

Yes. This is a drilled installation by design. The backing plates go inside the case to spread the load across the shell rather than letting bolt heads pull through it. Measure and mark carefully, because the holes do not come back.

Do I need a DECKED Drawer System for this?

No, and that is the point of the kit. It lets a D-co case mount to a rack, rail or tray whether or not there are DECKED drawers in the truck. If you do have the drawer system, a mounted case on a tray above it works too.

What is in the box?

Eight black backing plates, four knurled threaded inserts that set into the drilled holes, plus the bolts, screws and hex nuts to complete four mounting points. There is no case, no rack and no tray in the box.

Is there an install manual?

DECKED publishes a CargoGlide-specific instruction sheet for this kit. It is referenced on this listing, and we link the manufacturer sheet for the CargoGlide install rather than the T-track sheet, because the two kits use different hardware and different hole positions.
