The Weather Guard SB65-52-01 is a 65" heavy-duty sliding truck bed in matte black steel. Its deck is 49.2" wide and 13.2" high, carries 2,000 lb and slides out to 100% extension, so there is no climbing into the bed. Four adjustable tie-downs and removable sidewalls help secure cargo, and the deck is weather resistant. The unit weighs 410 lb.

Check your fit: the 65" slide is on our fitment list for full-size pickups: Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 2500 HD and 3500 HD; GMC Sierra 1500, 2500 HD and 3500 HD; Ford F-150 (Lightning included) and F-250, F-350 and F-450 Super Duty; Ram 1500, 1500 Classic, 2500 and 3500; Toyota Tundra; Nissan Titan and Titan XD. Weather Guard centers the base between the wheel wells with at least 1/2" left at the front bed wall, so measure the floor length and the gap between your wheel wells against its 65" length and 49.2" width.
Not for: mid-size pickups, which are not on its fitment list. Other length: SB75-52-01 (75"). Not included: the zinc-rich primer for an aluminum bed and the removable threadlocker that Weather Guard lists among the tools you supply.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which length do I need?
Choose by your bed floor. The SB65 is 65" long and the SB75 is 75", both 49.2" wide. Measure from the front wall, allowing at least 1/2" of clearance there, back toward the tailgate, and check the width between the wheel wells.
Will it fit a Silverado 1500?
That truck is on our fitment list for this slide. Bed floors vary, so confirm your floor length and wheel well gap against the 65" x 49.2" deck before ordering.
Do I have to drill my truck?
Yes. Weather Guard's instructions place each mounting point over a floor rib and open the hole in steps from a 3/16" bit to a 1/2" bit, then seat blind fasteners in the holes. Check underneath before drilling, add spacers where a hole falls between ribs, and prime holes in an aluminum bed.
Do I have to install the walls?
No, the walls are optional. If you use them, Weather Guard has you fit the rear wall first and then the two sides; leave them off for a fully flat deck.
Is there anything I should not carry on it?
Yes. Weather Guard's sheet rules out flammables, explosives and hazardous materials, such as gasoline cans, solvents, propane or acetylene tanks and gas-powered equipment. It is meant for tools, equipment and similar gear.
Does it need any upkeep?
Weather Guard asks you to inspect the slide before each use and from time to time after that: check the fasteners, mounting points, rollers and frame for wear or looseness, and do not use it if anything is damaged.

Here's the short version. Follow Weather Guard's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- Optional walls go on rear wall first, then the sides: set nut plates in the slot through the access hole and bolt them; swing the rear wall up 90 degrees and re-tighten.
- Pull the tray layer fully out, back it in about 2", and lift it out like a kitchen drawer; do the same with the slider layer.
- Center the base layer between the wheel wells with at least 1/2" to the front bed wall.
- Mark one of the three slots at each spot on top of a floor rib (spacers if a hole falls between ribs), check underneath, and drill from 3/16" up to 1/2". Prime holes in aluminum beds.
- Set the blind fasteners: oil the black oxide bolt and turn it with a 1/2" wrench until the fastener is fully seated.
- Drop the slider layer into the base and slide it forward, then the tray layer into the slider until it locks.

Weather Guard backs this sliding bed with its Limited Lifetime Warranty, issued by Werner Co.: the sliding bed is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for its expected lifetime, counted from the day you buy it.- Only the original purchaser is covered, and coverage ends if the sliding bed passes to a new owner.
- Every claim needs a copy of the original sales receipt, so keep your Prestige Truck order receipt with your records.
- Werner Co. picks the remedy: it repairs the faulty part or replaces the whole sliding bed at no charge for parts or labor, or it may refund what you paid or issue a credit toward a new Weather Guard product.
- Not covered: normal wear and tear, cosmetic rust, scratches, accident damage, repairs Werner Co. did not authorize, misuse, overloading, or a sliding bed that was not mounted or used as Weather Guard's written instructions describe. Damage to what you carry on it or to the vehicle is excluded too.
- Where the law allows, Werner Co. accepts no liability for incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages, economic loss included. This is the only express warranty on Weather Guard products, and no dealer can change it.

Inspect on delivery
Check that the slide, the three wall panels and both bolt kits with the blind fasteners and four tie-downs are all there, and look over the rollers and finish before installing. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
