These are the tie down anchors DECKED designed specifically for the DECKED Tool Box, and they are an accessory for it: they bolt into mounting positions on the Tool Box, so you need the Tool Box for them to go anywhere. They are not the D-rings for the Drawer System, which are a different part in black steel.

What arrives is a pair of machined aluminum anchor plates with a rectangular slot through the middle, plus the bolts to fit them. The slot is what takes a strap, a hook or a carabiner. The Tool Box is a big smooth box in a big smooth bed, and these give you lash points where there were none, so cargo riding on or beside the box can actually be secured.

DECKED designed these around the Tool Box specifically rather than adapting a generic anchor. They land in mounting positions the box already has, so nothing is improvised.

Bare Machined Aluminum
The anchors are machined aluminum rather than painted steel, which is a sensible choice for a part that lives outdoors on a box that cannot rust in the first place.

A Slot, Not a Loop
Each anchor is a plate with a rectangular slot through it. A strap threads straight through, and a hook or carabiner clips into it, with nothing standing proud to catch a load sliding past.

Two More Lash Points
Come in a set of two, which is two more places to secure cargo than a bare Tool Box gives you. Fit more than one set if you want anchors at both ends.

Not the Drawer System Part
DECKED makes a separate black steel D-ring for the Drawer System deck, rated at 400 lb per ring. That is a different product with a different mount, and its rating does not transfer to this one.

Do I need a DECKED Tool Box for these?

Yes. These anchors bolt into mounting positions on the DECKED Tool Box. They are not universal bed anchors and there is nothing for them to fasten to without the Tool Box.

Are these the same as the Drawer System D-rings?

No. This part is machined aluminum and mounts to the Tool Box. The Drawer System D-ring is a black steel folding ring that bolts through the drawer system deck. Different material, different mount, different part number, and they are not interchangeable.

What is the load rating?

DECKED does not publish a load rating for this part, so we do not quote one. The Drawer System D-ring is rated at 400 lb per ring, but that figure belongs to that part and we are not going to carry it across to this one. Rate your setup by the weakest published component.
