The UWS EC20021 is a 18" drawer tool box: a sealed, lockable aluminum tower that bolts to your bed floor and gives you a stack of commercial-grade drawers instead of one deep bin everything sinks to the bottom of. It stands 18.75" tall, 18" wide and 7.75" front to back, and holds 1.5ft³. The lid is UWS's patented RigidCore design, foam-filled so it does not bow or bind, with gas struts that lift it to a full 90 degrees and hold it there. Patented RigidCore Foam-Filled Lid The lid is not a hollow aluminum shell. UWS injects a solid foam core between two sheets of aluminum, which stiffens the whole panel so it does not bow in the middle, does not warp in the sun, and does not bind in the latches after a few hundred cycles. It is the difference you notice every time the lid closes squarely instead of needing a shove.
One-Piece Welded Aluminum Tub The tub is formed from a single sheet of extra-thick aluminum and welded, rather than riveted or folded from panels. There are no seams down the corners to leak or split, and aluminum will not rust out from the inside the way a painted steel box does once the coating is chipped.
Bright Aluminum Diamond Plate Finish The bright aluminum diamond plate is the classic work-truck look and it is the lowest-maintenance finish UWS offers: there is no paint to chip, so a scuff polishes out rather than turning into a rust spot. UWS's own care guidance is that polish will clear small scratches and scuffs.
Locking T-Handle and a Sealed Door A single key-operated T-handle secures the door over the drawer stack, so the whole box locks with one turn rather than drawer by drawer. The door carries MicroSeal stripping around its perimeter to keep road grime and water off the drawer slides.
MicroSeal Gasket Around the Lid A closed-cell gasket runs the full perimeter of the opening and compresses when the lid shuts, which is what keeps dust, road spray and rain out of the box. Commercial-Grade Drawer Stack The drawers run on commercial-grade slides inside the sealed aluminum shell, so tools stay sorted and reachable instead of sliding into one pile at the front of a deep box every time you brake. UWS lists five precision-injected drawers for this box.

Set the box where you want it, mark the four mounting holes, then check underneath the bed before you drill: fuel and brake lines, wiring looms and the tank all live under there and a drill bit through any of them is an expensive mistake. Drill the four holes, then bolt the box down with the supplied 1/4" hex bolts, flat washers and nylock nuts, torquing to about 3 ft-lb. Two keys are supplied. Look is great. 100 lbs lighter than my 2nd pick. Lid lock and opening are smooth. Only minor knock I give is the the tie down hooks are hard to install - thinking I should have done them before installing.

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Better then expected.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.
