UWS chest boxes leave the factory with mounting holes in the floor of the tub. This kit is sized to those holes, so you are not drilling a fresh pattern, hunting for a bolt that fits or packing out a gap with washers you found in a drawer.
Clear Zinc Plated Carbon Steel
The bolts and brackets are carbon steel with a clear zinc plating, which is the right specification for hardware that lives in a truck bed and sees road salt, rain and wash water without ever being looked at again.
Cushioned Washers Protect the Box

Fit guidance: This kit mounts a UWS utility chest box, which is the tall box that sits on the bed floor against the bulkhead, not the crossover box that spans the bed rails. One kit does one box. Before you drill, look under the bed at where the bolts will come through and confirm you are clear of the fuel tank, the spare tire winch, brake and fuel lines and the wiring harness, because none of those are visible from above.

Mark through the mounting holes in the tub floor, move the box, then get underneath and confirm the drill path is clear of the tank, lines and wiring. Drill, deburr, and treat the bare metal on a steel bed before you bolt through. Fit the cushioned washers against the aluminum, draw the clamps up snug rather than gorilla-tight, and re-check the fasteners after the first few hundred miles.
