Bright Aluminum Diamond Plate Finish The bright aluminum diamond plate is the classic work-truck look and it is the lowest-maintenance finish UWS offers: there is no paint to chip, so a scuff polishes out rather than turning into a rust spot. Secure Lock Twist Handles, Locking From Either Side Two key-operated twist handles, one on each side, and an internal connecting rod that ties them together. You can lock or unlock and open the box from the driver's side or the passenger's side, whichever side of the truck you happen to be standing on. The rod runs inside the box where it cannot be reached or pried.
MicroSeal Gasket Around the Lid A closed-cell gasket runs the full perimeter of the opening and compresses when the lid shuts, which is what keeps dust, road spray and rain out of the box. Lay the two supplied rail pads on the bed rails so the box does not sit metal-to-metal on your paint, set the box down centered front to back and side to side, then fit the two 3" J-hooks from underneath with the 1/4" washers and nuts and draw them up evenly. Torque to about 3 ft-lb: these are clamping fasteners, not structural bolts, and overtightening will dimple the rail. Two keys are supplied. Open and close the lid before you walk away to confirm the box is square and the latches line up. This box is heavy and awkward, so lift it into the bed with two people.

Look is great. 100 lbs lighter than my 2nd pick. Lid lock and opening are smooth. Only minor knock I give is the the tie down hooks are hard to install - thinking I should have done them before installing.

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Better then expected.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.
