Weather Resistant and Climate Tested
The seal along the tailgate edge helps keep water out at the back of the bed, and the vinyl tarp shields cargo from rain. Extang's climate testing ran from Alaska to Florida, at -40 to 180 F with humidity as high as 95 percent.

Fold Forward for Bed Access
Drop the tailgate, pop the spring-loaded rear clamps off the rails and walk the panels forward until they stack behind the cab, which opens two thirds of the bed. Integrated buckle straps hold the stack so you can drive with it open.

RTxVinyl Two-Layer Tarp
The tarp is RTxVinyl, a two-layer 40-grade vinyl engineered for truck beds. It has a leather-grain surface and stretches over an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, which keeps the cover light and low on the bed rails.

MegaBows With Nested Hardware
Heavy-duty MegaBows span the bed under the tarp to prevent sagging under rain, hail or snow. The hardware nests inside the bows to protect the vinyl from puncture as the cover opens and closes, and dual-pivot MaxHinges cut wear at the folds.

Jaw-Grip Front, Spring-Loaded Rear
Tool-free Jaw-Grip clamps hold the front of the cover at the bulkhead and spring-loaded clamps lock the rear panel to the bed rails. Pull the rear clamps down to release them and the cover opens in one motion, with no wrench, socket or ratchet.

Clamp-On Install, No Rails

The Trifecta e-Series arrives fully assembled, so there is nothing to bolt together. Lift it out of the box, set it square on the bed rails, then close the Jaw-Grip levers at the front and push the rear clamps onto the rails. Neither needs a tool, and no drilling or support rails are involved. Re-check the front clamps a week after fitting, then every so often.

Warranty, Shipping & Returns

Warranty. Extang covers the Trifecta e-Series with a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, running from the original purchase date on both the hard parts (rails, clamps and bows) and the vinyl fabric. It applies only to the original purchaser, is not transferable and needs proof of purchase or a warranty registration on file. Damage from accidents, neglect, improper installation, silicone or petroleum vinyl conditioners, driving with the cover partly open, opening it with snow or ice on top or towing the truck backwards with the cover fitted is not covered. Accepted claims are repaired or replaced at Extang's option and shipping charges are paid by the owner.

Free shipping. This item ships free to the lower 48 states. Because it is an oversized item, it ships by freight or oversized parcel and typically arrives in 3 to 7 business days.
