The Extang Trifecta Signature 2.0 is a soft tri-fold tonneau cover with a heavy-duty canvas tarp on an aluminum frame. Jaw-Grip clamps hold the cab end and spring-loaded EZ-Lock clamps latch the tail, so it goes on without drilling and lifts off without tools. Extang makes it in more than 80 truck-specific versions, from the Ford Maverick's 4'4" bed to 8' boxes on heavy-duty pickups, and several trucks get separate versions for factory options such as Ram's RamBox, Toyota's deck rails, Nissan's Utili-Track or GMC's CarbonPro bed. Every version folds forward for about two thirds of the bed and comes with Extang's five-year limited warranty.

Fit guidance: Pick your year, make, model and bed length in the vehicle selector to load the exact Trifecta Signature 2.0 part number for your truck. Each application is listed as its own product with its own hardware kit and instructions.
Extang is based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The Trifecta Signature 2.0 is its soft tri-fold cover with a canvas tarp; Extang publishes a truck-specific install sheet for each version.
The Signature 2.0 shares its frame, hinges, clamps and seals with the vinyl Trifecta 2.0. Extang also makes the Trifecta Toolbox 2.0 for beds with a crossover toolbox.

Start with your truck's make, model and year, then measure inside the bed floor from the bulkhead to the inside of the closed tailgate. Match that to the version for your truck, then check the factory options Extang makes separate parts for: RamBox on Ram, the deck rail system on Toyota, Utili-Track on the Nissan Titan, GM's cargo management tracks on 2007-2013 Silverado and Sierra beds, and GMC's CarbonPro bed. Each version's page lists what it fits and what it does not, or send us your VIN and we'll confirm.
Truck makers round their bed names (Ford sells a 5'6" bed, Toyota a 6'6" bed), while Extang labels each version by its own bed size, so the same box can show up as 5'7" or 6'7". Each page gives the measured length in inches where it is published. Measure your bed and compare inches, not names.
The tarp. Both share the aluminum frame, MaxHinges, Jaw-Grip and EZ-Lock clamps and the snap-on triple-fin seals. The Signature swaps the Trifecta 2.0's leather-grain vinyl for heavy-duty canvas, which Extang says is more durable and less affected by weather.
It is built to. Snap-on triple-fin seals run along the bed rails, bulkhead and tailgate. Like every soft folding cover it is weather-resistant rather than watertight. Brush snow and ice off before you fold it; Extang's warranty requires that.
Yes. Stow the rear clamps in the cover rail, fold the cover all the way to the cab and fasten both buckle straps with the tethers attached; about two thirds of the bed is then open. Never drive with it partly folded.
Loosen the Jaw-Grip front clamps by hand and lift the cover out of the bed. No tools are needed to take it off or put it back.

Looks good, seems to be of pretty good quality. Liking the look of the canvas vs the fake leather crap. Easy install, lightweight, fits perfectly. Some water gets in, but not that bad.
I have owned aluminum covers in the past so I was on the fence. But when it arrived and Installation when smoothly, I started to change my mind. It’s a great quality for the product and is well worth the money. I would say that I am pleasantly surprised. Not to mention that it looks good on the truck!

I bought this for a 2023 Ford F150 Lightning. The main complaint is that it's about 1" to 2" too short. The best you can do is position it so the seals at the front and back barely make contact. As a result it leaks in the rain / car wash, etc. The attachment fittings are pretty cheap and flimsy. Not sure how long the spring loaded latches at the rear will last as they feel like they are going to break every time I use them, but so far they seem to be hanging in there. For the price it seems like you should be getting a bit higher quality product. One other complaint is that it was not packaged well for shipping. The box arrived busted open with the contents spilling out. Luckily it was not damaged. On the positive side the cover looks very nice, and the canvas material seems to be pretty durable. Installation was pretty easy, except for it being too short. I've driven on the highway…

I’ve owned a couple tonneau covers and this is by far my favorite. The quick release latches make it easy to fold up. The canvas looks great and feels very strong.

Fits well. Easy to install and adjust so it's flush and tight to the bed itself. This is my third Extang Trifecta Tonneau cover. I have one for every pick up truck. These look great and work well if you are towing a Gooseneck or Fifth wheel trailer.

Bought this cover because of a friend said he was happy with his but he had the vinyl cover and I decided to go with canvas cover which I’m glad I did. I think it looks better.

Installed the 2.0 Signature Canvas on my nexgen 2019 GMC Sierra. This cover has a classy look and I always get compliments on it and asked about. I love the cover and would’ve give it 5 stars however it offers a lot of resistance when you close the tailgate-so much so I actually use my fingers and raise it a tad to help eliminate the resistance between tailgate and cover. I think I’d Extang included a slight bow to the center it would eliminate this problem. I had the Signature 2.0 Tonneau on my last truck -a 2017 Tundra and it could not have been a better fit. Ran it 2+ years 55k miles with no issues and never a leak. The canvas material is easy to clean-I never touched it with anything except my electric pressure washer. Remained new looking entire time. I would recommend this cover in the next gen just be aware it is a very tight fit when closing the tailgate and truly, this is most…
Easy to install, works well, looks great, and the canvas option is a real upgrade.
Good looking and overall high enough quality. But if you own a Nissan with cargo rails, there is a critics extra page of instructions that they inexplicably don’t include in the box… you have to call them for it. I fought this thing for an hour and a half before giving up and calling (a day later since the call center has limited hours), only to have the agent say, “I’ll email you the extra Nissan instructions. That should help you.” And it did… but this could’ve been a 45-minute, easy installation vs. a 2.5-hour struggle that played out over two days.

The cover arrived on time and it was a breeze to install. The correct brackets and hardware were in the box which allowed the installation to happen.
This second generation cover is not as well made, nor does it fit well. I have a 2017 F-150 and this cover just does not fit like it should. Water puddles on it. I do not recommend it nor would I purchase it again.
Extang makes a great product. Fits perfect and looks great. I'm glad I went with the canvas, seems to be more durable than the vinyl ones I've had on my previous trucks.
I think this a good cover. It is easy to install yourself if you know what your doing. I am NOT one of those guys. It took me two hours to make sense of the directions and that includes going to ask for help from my in-laws. Two own trucks and we still were scratching our heads. Then I realised the issue and had the beautiful looking cover installed in 20 minutes. I still would recommend this product.
Nice looking, seems to do the job MOSTLY, NOT leakproof and does a lot of flapping in high winds. I consider it LIGHT DUTY, fragile, probably easily stressed/bent.

Easy install Fit good except at tailgate.Due to factory tailgate protector I had to locate the cover as far towards the cab as possible with about an inch over the protector or the tailgate wouldn't close easily.
Perfect fit. Looks as it is made for the truck blending well with the underground color of my truck. Nice fabric tension results in no buffering driving down the road. So far great rain/snow and car wash resistant.

The canvas just looks cleaner. Easy to install. No maintenance with the canvas.
Biggest issue is the two straps they are used to secure the top when folded up. At speeds of over 50 mph, the tonneau starts to "flap" uncontrollably, very unnerving. If the plastic buckle fail, this will end in a disaster. The straps are pulled tight, with no additional room to make it tighter. I've had to rig a secondary hold down to ensure the tonneau remains on the truck at highway speeds.
This is a very nice bed cover. Sturdy and of good quality and it looks good too. Very easy to install and it does not leak.

I bought my Trifecta Signature 2.0 Series in June of 2017, (5 1/2 years ago) I had a new Honda Ridgeline, now with 90,000 miles. The install was simple, about an hour , and the fit was great. I live in Marietta, GA. 30" of rain yearly, bright sun, some hard freezes, terrible pollen in spring, etc. The Ridgeline has NEVER been parked in a garage and is outside 24/7. The Extang cover looks BRAND NEW. No joke. It's beautiful and I have done nothing to maintain it other than the occasional car wash. Never had a drop of water inside the bed in all these years. This is just a super-quality tonneau cover and I highly recommend if you want something that will last!

Everything seems to be above average but have a issue with the length. I feel like it needs to be an inch or two longer, only part of the rear and front seal on the cover sits on the truck bed.

Great looks and quality. The only thing I didn't care for is having to lay down in the truck bed to attach the front clamps. It takes a little longer to remove then my last cover because of this. Clamps are strong though. No water leaks with a good gasket around the base of the cover. Overall, I recommend purchasing the cover.
A good cover except for one thing: the canvas fabric material has a defect line that runs the entire length of the cover front to back, about a foot from the left side. I first noticed it after installation, now it's the first thing I see every time I look at it.
The cover flaps like crazy at freeway speeds and it's worse when the cover is folded up and strapped down because air gets under it and balloons up and is so unnerving as you travel down the freeway. Maybe the cover should have 4 straps instead of two to secure it down when its folded up and driving at high speeds. The cover could also be an inch longer as it barely goes over the tailgate when closed.

I thought this one that I purchased had the clamps in the front they're just locked on and did not have need any Screwing down in the front Towards the cab it would make for an easier and quicker removal
The material for the cover is great, however, it freezes to the rails of my truck and when I tried to break it free it destroyed my hinge pads rendering the back no longer weather proof
This is my second extang cover. The first was excellent quality and so far it looks like this one will be as well. It doesn’t fit quite as well in that the spring clips near the tailgate fall in an awkward location on my Chevy Colorado.
Installation was easy. Cover could be about an inch longer and wider to cover entire top of the bed. The handles that secure the top to the bed and detach could be stronger. I have seen an older model (for a Chevy Silverado) with a bigger and much tighter handle mechanism, so I was surprised by the lower quality of these handles for the Tacoma version.
Not too difficult to install, just a little tedious getting everything lined up, screws out, screws in. Looks good on. Still have room to get in truck trunk without raising tonneau.
I was let down for years the company sent me parts. Then when I was told that the model has changed and no recoup of funds towards the new cover it cost quite a bit to replace it. But since I really like that model, I purchased a new one.
The Trifecta 2.0 was an excellent choice. Very easy to install, great fit. Can be removed very easily for those larger load. The release handle have a “cheap” feel to them but I have had no issues with them.
I ordered this tonneau cover since my truck didn't come with the OEM Ram tri-fold cover. Installation wasn't too hard, but it was difficult finding a tri-fold soft cover that was compatible with the Ram Box. The fit is tight and actually seems to be more water tight than the OEM cover I had on my prior truck. The safety straps are entirely unnecessary since the front hold-downs screw down tight against the rails. Currently the safety straps are hanging down and I'll cut them off so they're out of the way. All in all, it's a nice looking/fitting cover and a good alternative to a heavy, hard cover if you don't need that.
Had to cut the rear clips a little to get them onto the bed rail. Works so far but wasn’t completely convenient. The material is awesome and it folds up nicely.
This my second cover of this brand and it is easy to install and it looks really great but in the back I usually put 2 bungee cords on each side from the last rail down to the tiedowns loops which most truck beds have at the back. The spring loaded hold down clamps which come attached to the back are just not strong enough to keep it from holding it down securely enough for my taste. It vibrates too much. But it's not a big deal. I can put stuff in the bed without removing the cords and if I have to fold up the cover it only takes a couple seconds to unhook the cords. This is a GREAT looking cover.
Initially the cover looked nice but after only one summer in the Florida the fabric has already began to stretch. It now holds water on top whenever it rains and will flop up and down when driving on the the highway. I would not recommend this cover and wish I would have saved for a more solid cover.
I had the signature series tonneau cover on my 2016 Tacoma. This review I’m comparing what I’ve had to what I received. The material is more nylon feeling than canvas. As far as fit, the fit is expected. it’s cool to see the upgraded safety features extra straps to tie into the truck bed. The plastic handles, don’t feel as durable as the previous tonneau cover. Other than that it’ll keep whatever you put in the back dry. Some water may make it into the bed but that’ll be gaps in the bed
Returned and reorder, went through filter for 6.5 bed size and filter let in a 5.5 bed size which was too short and returned.
The cover looks great, was slightly difficult to install but I had Christmas presents in the bed of my truck and they got soaked. They need to work on a better seal for their covers
