Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

How is this different from a standard leveling kit?

A standard leveling kit only adds front height. These kits also replace the front and rear shocks with Falcon units matched to the leveled truck.

Does it lift the rear?

No. It levels the front. The rear shocks are replaced, but rear ride height stays at stock.

What is the largest tire it clears?

The tire size ReadyLIFT lists for this exact vehicle is in the specifications on this page. Tire dimensions vary by brand, so test fit your wheel and tire combination before mounting.

Will I need an alignment after installing it?

Yes, plan on one. ReadyLIFT notes the vehicle may need an alignment after installation, and headlamp aim should be checked at the same visit.

Does it affect driver-assistance cameras and radar?

Changing ride height can shift camera, radar and sonar aim. ReadyLIFT says to check and recalibrate these systems after installation, and some vehicles need dealer tools to do it.

Are the shocks adjustable?

It depends on the kit. Falcon 3.3 shocks have Fast Adjust and fine tuning settings, and the tow and haul versions offer preset modes. This kit's details list its exact shocks.
