The Extang Trifecta e-Series is a soft folding tonneau cover and the entry point to the Trifecta lineup. A two-layer 40-grade RTxVinyl tarp with a leather-grain texture is stretched over an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, with heavy-duty MegaBows underneath and a textured black EnduraCoat finish on the metal. Opening starts at the tailgate: drop the spring-loaded rear clamps off the rails, stack the panels against the cab and buckle the straps to uncover two thirds of the bed. Weather seals along the tailgate help keep water out, and the cover clamps on with no drilling or support rails and carries a 5-year warranty. It suits owners who want Trifecta styling and weather resistance at the entry-level price of the range. Part number 77472 is the 5'7" bed application for the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra, with Deck Rail System.

Features
Weather Resistant and Climate Tested The seal along the tailgate edge helps keep water out at the back of the bed, and the vinyl tarp shields cargo from rain. Extang's climate testing ran from Alaska to Florida, at -40 to 180 F with humidity as high as 95 percent.
Fold Forward for Bed Access Drop the tailgate, pop the spring-loaded rear clamps off the rails and walk the panels forward until they stack behind the cab, which opens two thirds of the bed. Integrated buckle straps hold the stack so you can drive with it open.
RTxVinyl Two-Layer Tarp The tarp is RTxVinyl, a two-layer 40-grade vinyl engineered for truck beds. It has a leather-grain surface and stretches over an aircraft-grade aluminum frame, which keeps the cover light and low on the bed rails.
MegaBows With Nested Hardware Heavy-duty MegaBows span the bed under the tarp to prevent sagging under rain, hail or snow. The hardware nests inside the bows to protect the vinyl from puncture as the cover opens and closes, and dual-pivot MaxHinges cut wear at the folds.
Jaw-Grip Front, Spring-Loaded Rear Tool-free Jaw-Grip clamps hold the front of the cover at the bulkhead and spring-loaded clamps lock the rear panel to the bed rails. Pull the rear clamps down to release them and the cover opens in one motion, with no wrench, socket or ratchet.
Clamp-On Install, No Rails The cover ships assembled. Set it on the bed rails and clamp the front and rear, with no drilling, no support rails and no tools. Removal for full bed access works the same way in reverse. Extang rates the install at under an hour.
Fitment & Compatibility
Fit guidance: Fits the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra with the 5'7" bed. Not for the 6'7" bed (EXT-77951). This part is the with Deck Rail System version.

Warranty. Extang covers the Trifecta e-Series with a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, running from the original purchase date on both the hard parts (rails, clamps and bows) and the vinyl fabric. It applies only to the original purchaser, is not transferable and needs proof of purchase or a warranty registration on file. Damage from accidents, neglect, improper installation, silicone or petroleum vinyl conditioners, driving with the cover partly open, opening it with snow or ice on top or towing the truck backwards with the cover fitted is not covered. Accepted claims are repaired or replaced at Extang's option and shipping charges are paid by the owner.
Free shipping. This item ships free to the lower 48 states. Because it is an oversized item, it ships by freight or oversized parcel and typically arrives in 3 to 7 business days.

About Extang
Extang is a truck bed cover maker whose design and engineering work is done in the USA, as is the testing behind its products. The company puts its own names on the parts it develops, from Jaw-Grip clamps and MegaBows to the EnduraCoat frame finish and the RTxVinyl tarp material used on this cover.
The Trifecta name covers Extang's soft folding range. The e-Series sits at the entry point, with the Trifecta 2.0, Trifecta Signature 2.0, Trifecta ALX and Trifecta Toolbox 2.0 above it. All of them are soft folding covers, and the e-Series takes its styling and weather resistance cues from the Trifecta 2.0 one step up.
Extang backs the Trifecta e-Series with a 5-year warranty and a support team located in the USA. Owners get install sheets and how-to videos so a cover can be fitted at home, and Extang sells its own tested Tonno Tonic cleaner for looking after the vinyl tarp.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
How much of the bed can I get into with the cover on?
With the cover closed you reach the bed through the tailgate as normal. Release the spring-loaded rear clamps, stack the panels forward against the cab and roughly two thirds of the bed opens up, held there by the integrated buckle straps. For the full bed, the cover lifts off without tools because the front Jaw-Grip clamps need no wrench.
Will the Trifecta e-Series keep my cargo dry?
It is a weather-resistant soft cover, not a sealed box. The two-layer RTxVinyl tarp keeps rain off the load and the MegaBows prevent the tarp sagging under rain, hail or snow, while the seals along the tailgate edge help keep water out at the back. Like any soft cover it is water resistant rather than watertight.
Does it fit Ram trucks with RamBox or Toyota beds with the Deck Rail System?
Yes, but the part number changes. Extang builds separate Trifecta e-Series covers for Ram beds with RamBox and silver cargo rails (with or without the Multifunction Tailgate) and for Toyota beds with or without the Deck Rail System. When you pick your truck above, choose the option that matches your bed so the clamps land where they should.
Can the cover be locked?
Extang does not list a lock for the Trifecta e-Series. Opening it starts by lowering the tailgate to reach the spring-loaded rear clamps, so a locked tailgate keeps the release points covered and the cover closed. As with any vinyl cover, that hides cargo from view rather than making the bed a safe, so keep high-value items elsewhere.
How should I clean and care for the vinyl?
Wash it with mild automotive soap and water. If you want a conditioner, use a water-based product or Extang's own Tonno Tonic. Silicone or petroleum based conditioners (which includes many spray-on protectants) dry the vinyl out and cause cracking and shrinking. Using them voids the warranty. Clear snow, ice and debris off the top before you fold the cover open.
Can I drive with the cover folded open?
Yes, as long as it is fully folded and secured. Fold all the panels forward against the cab and fasten both buckle straps before you move. Extang warns against driving with the cover partly open or with clamps loose, because an unsecured tarp flaps in the wind and the fabric damage is not covered by the warranty. Closed, all four clamps must be tight.
