The Roll-N-Lock E-Series XT is the top of the Roll-N-Lock range, built here for the 5'7" bed on the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra. A wireless key fob drives the aluminum deck forward on its side tracks into a canister behind the cab and back again, and MaxTrak T-slot rails run down both bed rails underneath it so racks, crossbars and tie-down hardware mount to the cover rather than around it.
The rails sit outboard of the deck, which is the part that matters: hardware bolted into them stays mounted while the cover retracts beneath it, so you can carry bikes or bars on top and still open the whole box below. Because a motor rather than a torsion spring moves the deck, it stops and locks anywhere along its travel instead of at three fixed ratchet positions. An auto-stop circuit halts it if something in the bed is in the way, and an LED in the canister housing lights the length of the bed when it opens.
On this truck the cover works with the tailgate rather than around it: Roll-N-Lock's tailgate extrusion means the tailgate cannot be dropped while the cover is closed and locked. Part number 575E-XT, built for the 5'7" bed on the 2022-2026 Tundra, and covered by Roll-N-Lock's five-year limited warranty.

Features
Opens From the Key Fob A two-button wireless fob runs the cover. One press sends the deck forward into the canister, another brings it back and locks it, and neither asks you to reach over the bedside or put anything down first.
MaxTrak T-Slot Rails A T-slot channel runs the length of both bed rails and takes crossbars, racks, cargo boxes and tie-down hardware. Because the rails sit outboard of the deck, anything bolted into them stays mounted while the cover rolls forward underneath.
Locks Anywhere on the Track The manual covers in the range hold at three ratchet positions. The E-Series is motor-driven, so it stops and locks wherever you let go of the fob. A long load that fits none of the presets still gets a locked cover over the rest of the box.
LED Cargo Light A light is built into the canister housing and throws down the length of the bed when the cover opens, which is the difference between finding what you came for and feeling for it at the far end of the box in the dark.
Auto-Stop The drive watches the motor load and halts the deck if something in the bed is in its way, so an over-height load stops the cover instead of being forced under it.
Locks With Your Tailgate Roll-N-Lock builds a tailgate extrusion into the rear of the cover. With the cover closed and locked, the tailgate cannot be dropped, so the bed is closed off by the cover and the tailgate together rather than by the cover alone.
Drains Through the Rails, Not Onto Your Gear The deck sheds the weather, and integrated channels and drain tubes route anything that gets past the seals down through the rails and out under the truck.
Clamps On, No Holes in the Truck The rails clamp to the bed rails with the included hardware and the canister sits against the bulkhead. Nothing is drilled into the truck itself. A drop-in plastic bedliner is the exception and generally has to be trimmed and drilled to clear the canister and the drain tubes.
Fitment & Compatibility
Fit guidance: Fits the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra with the 5'7" bed. Will not fit a Tundra with the factory spray-in liner, because that liner carries a molded "Tundra" nameplate the cover cannot clear. Want the same electric cover without the T-slot rails? That is RC575E. To add a sliding bed divider inside this cover's rails, see Cargo Manager CM575.

Installation
Type: Clamp-on, nothing drilled into the truck · Hardware: Included · Sheet: Vehicle-specific, supplied in the carton
The side tracks clamp to the bed rails with the supplied hardware and the canister housing sits against the bulkhead at the front of the bed. No holes go into the truck itself.
A drop-in plastic bedliner is the one thing to plan for. The canister seats against the bulkhead and the drain tubes run down through the bed corners, so a drop-in liner normally has to be trimmed and drilled to clear both. A spray-in liner or a bare bed needs none of that. The installation sheet for this application carries the measurements, and it is better to know before the carton is open than after.
The E-Series is a powered cover, and the sheet in the carton is the authority on how it is connected and set up on this truck. Roll-N-Lock does not publish an installation time for the E-Series, so we are not going to quote one.

Warranty. Roll-N-Lock covers the E-Series XT with a five (5) year limited warranty to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship. The warranty runs to the original purchaser only and is not transferable, and it ends if the product is moved to another vehicle. Roll-N-Lock states plainly that it does not warrant against water intrusion, including leaks in normal use.
Free shipping. This ships free to the lower 48 states. It travels as a parcel shipment rather than a freight shipment.
Inspect on delivery. It arrives in a long, flat carton that takes the knocks before anything inside does. Check the packaging when it arrives, and if you see damage, note it on the delivery paperwork and contact us straight away so we can put it right.

About Roll-N-Lock
Roll-N-Lock builds retractable truck bed covers and cargo management hardware at its plant in Pompano Beach, Florida, and is part of the RealTruck group of truck accessory brands. Every cover is assembled in Florida from US and global materials and is backed by a three-year limited warranty to the original purchaser, or five years on the electric E-Series.
The E-Series XT sits at the top of the Roll-N-Lock line: the electric key-fob deck of the E-Series with MaxTrak T-slot rails run down both bed rails, so racks, crossbars and tie-down hardware mount to the cover rather than around it. Drop the rails and you have the plain E-Series; drop the motor as well and you are into the manual M-Series and A-Series.
Every Roll-N-Lock cover shares the same mechanism: a torsion-spring or motor-driven deck, a patented theft-resistant hinge between the slats, and a tailgate extrusion that stops the tailgate opening while the cover is closed. The deck retracts into a canister at the bulkhead and locks there rather than stowing loose in the bed.
Prestige Truck is an authorized Roll-N-Lock dealer. Every cover we ship is new, in the factory carton, and covered by Roll-N-Lock's warranty direct from the manufacturer.
Fob control, rails both sides
The E-Series XT does the two things a tonneau cover normally makes you choose between. A two-button wireless fob drives the aluminum deck forward into the canister behind the cab and back again, locking wherever you release it, so the whole box opens without anything being lifted off or carried away. Running down both bed rails underneath it are Roll-N-Lock's MaxTrak T-slot rails, which take crossbars, racks and tie-down hardware on the cover itself. A tailgate extrusion at the rear stops the tailgate dropping while the cover is closed and locked.
Carry on top, still open
T-slot rails on most covers mean the cover stops being a cover. On the XT the MaxTrak rails sit outboard of the deck, so hardware bolted into them stays put while the deck rolls forward underneath. Load bikes, bars or boxes above and you still get the whole box open below. The deck itself stops and locks at any point along its travel rather than at three fixed notches, an auto-stop circuit halts it if something in the bed is in the way, and an LED in the canister housing lights the bed when it opens.
Built to live outside
The XT deck is matte black powder-coated aluminum, sealed along both rails and drained through integrated channels and tubes that carry water down through the rails and out under the truck. Roll-N-Lock does not call it waterproof and neither will we: treat it as water-resistant, keep the tracks and the T-slot channels clear of grit, and clear snow off the deck before you open it. It is assembled in Pompano Beach, Florida from US and global materials and carries a five-year limited warranty, two years longer than any manual cover in the range.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Does the cover stop by itself if something in the bed is in the way?
Yes. Roll-N-Lock builds an auto-stop into the E-Series: the drive watches the motor and halts the deck when it meets resistance, so an over-height load in the box stops the cover rather than the cover forcing its way over it. Use it as a safety net, not as a substitute for looking in the bed. Anything standing taller than the bed rails should be moved or the cover stopped short of it on purpose, which the E-Series lets you do at any point along the track.
Can I stop and lock the cover part-way along the bed?
Anywhere you like. The manual Roll-N-Lock covers use a patented ratchet that holds the deck at three fixed positions; the E-Series is motor-driven, so it stops and locks wherever you release the fob. That matters for the loads that do not fit a preset: a ladder poking out of the back, a load of timber, a bike wheel standing proud. Cover as much of the box as the load allows and lock it there.
Will rain and snow stay out of my truck bed?
Mostly, but Roll-N-Lock does not call the E-Series waterproof and neither will we. The aluminum deck sheds the weather and integrated channels and drain tubes carry whatever gets past the seals down through the rails and out under the truck. In a heavy downpour or at a jet wash you should expect some moisture to find its way in around the edges. Roll-N-Lock's warranty is explicit that water intrusion is not covered, including leaks in normal use, so treat the cover as highly water resistant and keep anything that genuinely must stay dry in a sealed container.
Is the electric cover covered for longer than the manual ones?
Yes. Roll-N-Lock warrants the E-Series and E-Series XT for five years to the original purchaser, where the manual M-Series and A-Series carry three. It is the only part of the range that gets the longer term, it covers defects in materials and workmanship, it is not transferable, and it ends if the cover is moved to another vehicle. Water intrusion is excluded on every family, electric included.
Do I have to drill into my truck to fit one?
No holes go into the truck itself. The side tracks clamp to the bed rails with the hardware in the box and the canister housing sits against the bulkhead. The catch is the bedliner: where a bed has a drop-in plastic liner, that liner generally has to be cut back and drilled so the canister seats and the drain tubes can pass through it. Roll-N-Lock gives the cut measurements in the installation sheet for your application, and a spray-in liner or a bare bed needs none of it.
What can I mount on the MaxTrak T-slot rails?
The MaxTrak rails are a standard T-slot channel run down both bed rails, so anything that mounts on T-slot hardware bolts straight in and slides anywhere along the rail rather than having to land on a fixed hole. Crossbars, bike carriers, cargo boxes and tie-down cleats are the usual ones. The rails sit outboard of the deck, so hardware left mounted does not stop the cover retracting underneath it. Load ratings come from whoever makes the rack, not from Roll-N-Lock, so check the rack's own figure before you load it, and check the rack maker's fit list for this cover before you buy.

Gr8 cover gr8 customer service
I Had an issue w/ my original cover n customer service was outstanding 2 remedy it. I absolutely love the look n function of the cover. Its an expensive cover but its electric. I believe i would have been happy w/ the manual version but I splurged since I did not want a strap to reach n pull. I'm hopeful this cover lasts 4 the life of my truck. It seems pretty durable. I installed the cover myself which took me awhile due to my physical disabilities. I wish I opted to have it installed but i already spent a pretty penny 4 the cover and figured id do better than any local installers. The instructions n videos are ok but could be better. Ex. I had to figure out my own path 4 the electrical wire from the cover 2 the battery. I would like to see a few upgrades to the product. The sheetmetal screws on the bottom of the canister should have a rubber washer or be caulked on the inside to prevent drips when water is in the canister. Improve the mount system 4 the canister than 1 screw into the support bracket n thin tang bolts attaching the tracks to the canister. The Track width near tailgate should be narrowed as to clear rear stake pockets to prevent minor trimming of rubber seals. I May adjust tracks to see if i can clear pockets and have the cover still function without binding. Add Instructions to Direct drainage tubes to sides n not through bulkhead to avoid cab vents. (I did silicone the canister screws and put my drain tubes to the sides. Be careful of your fuel fill pipe) The cover is secure and mostly dry. I plan on addressing the very minimal water leakage in the front corners and will add a tailgate seal to minimize water entering. It still may get some water due to the multipro tailgate. Overall very pleased with my cover and customer service A++

I love my new tonneau cover
After incorrectly buying the wrong model, I received prompt support to return the incorrect model and replace it with the right one. I sent the cover over to a local body shop who installed it. The new powered tonneau cover looks great and acts as expected. There was some cosmetic damage due to shipping, and they're replacing that, too.

Roll-N-Lock 2-week review
It took awhile to decipher the instructions, but with careful reading they are accurate and complete. It took longer than I expected, it I was able to install the bed cover without assistance. The instructions recommend two people for aligning and tightening the rail brackets, but they were not a problem. The only step that wasn’t covered was how to adjust the travel to close completely, but I figured it out (just release the clutch and extend it manually, then re-engage the drive gear). I have since installed the Real Truck adjustable racks. They are easy to install and work great.

New Truck Bed Cover
The cover is great. It is everything as described and worked very well. Took slightly longer to install than expected but all is good. There was slight damage to the box cap the cover rolls into in shipping. Just cosmetic.
