Access LiteRider part 36209 is the 4'4" bed application for the 2022-2027 Hyundai Santa Cruz. A slantback rear bar gives the closed cover its familiar Access profile at the tailgate.
What's Included:
Pre-rolled LiteRider cover assembly with front bar, bows and rear bar
Driver and passenger side rails (longer boxes typically get two-piece rails on each side)
Left and right EZ-Dial tension adjusters with nuts and bolts
Tight Bite rail clamps
Front and rear vinyl seals
Alcohol prep pad for seal installation
Quick Clip storage straps, attached to the cover
The Element Seal bulkhead gasket, TrailSeal tailgate gasket, sealant for factory box holes, bed liner and any cargo lighting or tools are sold separately and are not in the box.
Features
AutoLatch with slide lock A cord on the driver side releases the rear bar, and the latch catches automatically when the cover closes. A manual slide lock on the passenger side pushes in to lock and pulls out to release.
EZ-Dial tension adjusters Turning the dials at the front bar tightens or loosens the fabric with no tools. Setting both sides by the same amount keeps the cover even and drum tight, which helps it shed water and run quieter.
Full-length hook-and-loop sealing A 1-1/2" slide-in hook strip fastens the fabric edge to each side rail from the cab to the tailgate. Sealing both sides each time you close the cover is part of normal use.
Seals on all four sides Front and rear vinyl seals and foam along the side rails close off the perimeter, and the front seals add coverage at the bulkhead corners. An Element Seal bulkhead gasket is an available add-on.
1-1/2" raised profile The cover sits 1-1/2" above the box on black aluminum rails and bars with silver bows. Most long boxes get three bows instead of two.
Quick Clip storage straps Nylon straps with buckles hold the rolled cover behind the cab, so the whole bed is usable and the rear view stays clear.

About Access
Access roll-up covers are designed and built by Agri-Cover, Inc., a Jamestown, North Dakota company whose lineup also spans mud flaps, snow plows, ag tarps, pickup racks, truck toppers and hard covers. The Access Original roll-up has been in the catalog since 1991, and every Access roll-up since has kept the same rail-mounted, hook-and-loop sealed layout.
Access builds seven roll-up lines. The LiteRider is the value choice among the covers that sit 1-1/2" above the box: it carries over the automatic latch, hand-turned tension dials and four-side sealing of the premium lines in a simpler package, with an AutoLatch and single slide lock instead of the AutoLatch II dual system.
Agri-Cover supports the LiteRider with a 3-year limited warranty. The serial number is on a decal under the rear bar by the tailgate; keep it handy for warranty claims and when ordering original replacement parts through Agri-Cover customer service.
Latches the moment it closes
Pull the cord on the driver side and the rear bar lifts free; push it back down and the AutoLatch catches on its own. A slide lock on the passenger side adds a second hold whenever you want it.
Tension you set by hand
EZ-Dial adjusters at the front bar let you tighten or relax the vinyl in seconds with no tools. Keeping the cover drum tight helps it shed water, cut noise and last longer.
A little more room underneath
The LiteRider sits 1-1/2" above the box, so loads that ride near the top of the bed still fit under a closed cover. Silver bows over black aluminum rails keep the fabric flat across the span.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Is the LiteRider waterproof?
No soft roll-up cover is fully waterproof. Seals on all four sides keep most weather out, but some moisture and dust can still reach the bed, so wrap cargo that has to stay dry.
How does the LiteRider lock?
A pull cord on the driver side releases the AutoLatch, and it catches on its own when the rear bar closes. A manual slide lock on the passenger side adds a second lock; with a locking tailgate the bed stays closed to casual access, though no soft cover is theft-proof.
How do I adjust the tension?
Roll the cover open and turn both EZ-Dial adjusters by equal amounts: counterclockwise to tighten, clockwise to loosen. A properly set cover sounds drum-like when tapped, sheds water better and lasts longer.
Will it work with my bed liner?
Spray-in liners and bed mats are compatible. Drop-in liners that sit under the rail need minor trimming at the front corners and by the tailgate, and over-the-rail drop-ins need considerable modification.
Can I tow a fifth-wheel trailer with the cover installed?
Yes. Roll the cover up to the front of the box and secure it with the storage straps before hooking up.
Do I have to drill into my truck?
Standard LiteRider installs clamp to the box, but some applications use special hardware or a bolt-on procedure. The Installation tab on each listing shows exactly what that truck needs.
