Every cover on this page fits a 2004 to 2024 Nissan Titan or Titan XD. Pick your year, model and bed in the selector to see the exact part, because several brands build the XD's 6.5 ft bed as a part of its own.
Nissan built the Titan for the 2004 to 2015 and 2016 to 2024 model years, then ended production with the 2024 trucks. The 2016 model year was XD only, so a 2016 Titan takes an XD part. Only two covers here use one part for both generations: the RetraxONE MX on the 5.5 ft bed and the Retrax PowerTraxPRO XR on the 6.5 ft bed.

To check your bed, measure the floor from the front wall to the closed tailgate: about 67 inches is the 5.5 ft bed, 78 to 79 the 6.5 ft and about 98 the 8 ft. Only TruXedo lists the long-wheelbase beds, with 7'3" parts for 2008 to 2014 and 8'3" parts for 2008 and 2009.
Utili-track, Titan Boxes and sport bars
Utili-track is Nissan's system of C-section rails with sliding tie-down cleats (five rails on a first-generation Titan), and not every truck has it. On 2016 to 2024 trucks, BAK's install sheet for the BAKFlip and Revolver X2 has you unbolt the two channels on each bedside, turn them 180 degrees and refit them in the same holes, leaving the center bolt out. A 2017 Crew Cab owner confirms it:
“I can confirm you do have to invert your utili-track system on the sides so the new rails can be attached to the bed on the Titan.”

Other brands make a part for each case instead: UnderCover builds its Ultra Flex and ArmorFlex with and without the track for 2016 to 2024 beds, Extang adds a with-track Trifecta ALX for the Crew Cab and TruXedo lists its 2016 to 2024 TruXport only for 6'7" beds with the track. Access lists the Lorado and LiteRider for Crew Cabs either way.
Titan Boxes, the lockable storage boxes Nissan sold for the bed sides, rule out two Roll-N-Lock covers: the M-Series on the 6.5 ft bed and the M-Series XT on both beds. On 2022 and 2023 trucks, TruXedo and UnderCover list parts only for beds without factory sport bars, a note UnderCover's one-piece LUX and SE carry for every year.
Choosing a cover for the Titan
The 2017 to 2024 Crew Cab's 5.5 ft bed has the widest choice at 30 series, against 25 for the Titan XD and 22 for the half-ton King Cab. A 2018 Titan owner says the BAKFlip MX4 ($1,199.99) came with hardware to mount on the truck's existing cargo track. Only three retractables list that Crew Cab bed: the RetraxONE MX ($1,549.99), Roll-N-Lock M-Series ($1,699.99) and M-Series XT ($1,849.99).
On 2016 to 2024 trucks, Retrax's aluminum-slat covers fit only the 6.5 ft bed: the RetraxPRO MX ($2,149.99), the RetraxPRO XR ($2,299.99) with T-slot rails and the electric Retrax EQ ($2,799.99), which opens from a key fob, an app or a touchpad.
The 2017 to 2019 Single Cab's 8 ft bed has seven choices: six TruXedo series from the Lo Pro ($519.99) to the Sentry CT ($1,299.99), five of them listed for the XD, plus the Pace Edwards JackRabbit ($1,555.11), an aluminum retractable that Pace Edwards says impedes the Utili-track.
For a rack, the TruXedo Pro X15 TS ($669.99) is the entry point for T-slot rails and lists every 2016 to 2024 bed, while the BAK Revolver X4 TS ($1,549.99) is the hard roll-up with rails for the Crew Cab and XD. Soft covers thin out on the 2016 to 2024 6.5 ft bed, with six each for the King Cab and XD against ten for the Crew Cab. The Access TonnoSport ($413) lists all three and sits half an inch above the bed rails.
Brands we carry for the Titan
Access, LOMAX, Roll-N-Lock and Pace Edwards build only for 2016 to 2024 trucks, so a 2004 to 2015 Titan draws on BAK, Extang, Retrax, TruXedo and UnderCover.
The Extang Trifecta 2.0 ($469.99) clamps on by hand, carries Extang's limited lifetime warranty and lists 2004 to 2015 Crew Cab and King Cab beds, the 2017 to 2024 Crew Cab without Utili-track and the Titan XD. A 2023 Titan XD Platinum Reserve owner reports a 30-minute install with the Utili-track and in-bed boxes left in place. Skip it if you drive a half-ton King Cab built from 2017 (no part is listed) or want to load the closed cover, since Extang publishes no load rating.
The BAK Revolver X4s ($1,399.99) carries BAK's Level-3 security rating and a 400 lb load rating, locks its aluminum slats into rails along both sides and rolls onto a spool at the cab to free the whole bed. It lists 2004 to 2015 Crew Cab and King Cab beds, the 2017 to 2024 Crew Cab and the 2016 to 2024 Titan XD. Skip it if you drive a half-ton King Cab built from 2017, which no BAK Revolver lists.
The RetraxPRO MX ($2,149.99) carries 500 lb on double-wall aluminum slats, holds open at any point and comes with Retrax's limited lifetime warranty. It lists the 6.5 ft bed on the 2016 to 2024 Titan XD, on half-ton King Cabs from 2017 and on 2004 to 2015 King Cabs. Skip it if your Titan has the 5.5 ft Crew Cab bed, which it does not list: for a 2017 to 2024 Crew Cab, Retrax offers only the RetraxONE MX, rated for 200 lb.
TruXedo's Sentry CT ($1,299.99) and Sentry are the only hard covers here listed for all four Titan bed lengths, and only the CT has a part for the 8 ft bed on 2008 and 2009 long-wheelbase King Cabs. Its aluminum slats carry 400 lb under a woven canvas top, lock with up to six automatic latches and roll to the cab to free the whole bed. Skip it if a vinyl top will do: the Sentry ($1,199.99) has the same slats and 400 lb rating for less, with a three-year warranty against the CT's five.
The whole bed opens
The BAKFlip MX4 ($1,199.99) folds flat against the cab, so a Titan XD's 6.5 ft bed opens end to end, and BAK lists it for every 5.5 and 6.5 ft Titan bed from 2004 to 2024.
Sprayed in your Titan's paint code
UnderCover sprays the LUX ($1,299.99) lid to your factory paint code, and the locked lid holds the tailgate shut, on 2016 to 2024 Titan and Titan XD beds without factory sport bars.
A woven top that stays taut
The TruXedo Pro X15 ($599.99) has a five-layer woven top held tight by spring tension in its front header, and TruXedo lists it for all four Titan bed lengths, long-wheelbase beds included.
Titan tonneau cover FAQs
What bed size does my Titan have?
On a 2017 to 2024 half-ton the cab tells you: Crew Cabs have the 5.5 ft bed (5'7"), King Cabs the 6.5 ft bed (6'7") and 2017 to 2019 Single Cabs the 8 ft bed (8'3"). Every Titan XD has the 6.5 ft bed except the 2017 to 2019 Single Cab. On 2004 to 2015 trucks, Crew Cabs have the 5.5 ft bed and King Cabs the 6.5 ft bed, except long-wheelbase trucks from 2008 on, which have the 7 ft or 8 ft bed (7'3" or 8'3").
Can I keep using the Utili-track and Titan Boxes?
Often, if you pick the right part: Access lists the Lorado and LiteRider for 2017 to 2024 Crew Cabs with or without the track, and owners report the Extang Trifecta 2.0 on a 2023 Titan XD and the Solid Fold ALX on a 2022 Titan fitting with the track and Titan Boxes in place. Roll-N-Lock says its M-Series either reuses the track or removes it, and its M-Series XT works with neither the track nor the boxes. A 2012 Titan owner removed the Utili-track to fit a BAKFlip G2.
Will a Titan cover fit a Titan XD?
Often, because the XD and the half-ton King Cab share the 6.5 ft bed: 20 of the 22 series that list that King Cab bed list the XD too. BAK's Revolver X2, X4s and X4 TS, the Extang Trifecta 2.0 and Roll-N-Lock's M-Series XT list their 6'7" parts for the XD only, so pick Titan XD in the selector. A half-ton Crew Cab's 5.5 ft cover will not fit an XD, which never had that bed.
Does a bedliner change which cover I can use?
A spray-in liner, which Nissan offered on the Titan, needs no changes for the Roll-N-Lock M-Series. A drop-in plastic liner does: Roll-N-Lock says to cut it back so the canister and drain tubes fit, and UnderCover says it may need trimming so the LUX and SE brackets sit flat. A 2021 Titan owner with a spray-in liner, Utili-track and Titan Boxes says the boxes were the hard part of flipping the track for a BAK Revolver.
Will a tonneau cover keep my Titan bed dry?
Mostly, though TruXedo and UnderCover do not call their covers waterproof and Roll-N-Lock's warranty excludes water intrusion. A Titan owner in Pennsylvania reports a dry bed through heavy rain under an Extang Trifecta 2.0 fitted to the Utili-track, and a 2014 Titan owner saw no water in a month under a BAKFlip G2. A 2017 Titan owner found gaps around a BAKFlip MX4 where water could get in, so fit the drain tubes wherever a cover has them.
