Access Original Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover

Access Original is a soft roll-up cover, and the first thing you notice is the finish: a grain textured vinyl in semi-gloss black that sits beside the plastic trim on your truck without clashing. The tarp is coated on both faces and stretched over aluminum rails with crossbars underneath, so snow and standing water do not push it down. Foam rubber seals run along both bed rails while vinyl gaskets close off the bulkhead and the tailgate. Pull the rear cable, the AutoLatch II frees both sides at once and the cover rolls forward to the cab.

Features

Semi-Gloss Grain Finish
The tarp carries a textured grain and a semi-gloss black surface, so it lines up visually with factory plastic trim rather than shining like a painted panel. It stands about an inch and a half over the rails.

Sealed On All Four Sides
ELEMENT SEAL is the perimeter gasket set: foam rubber along each bed rail, vinyl at the bulkhead and a matching gasket at the tailgate. Water that lands on the tarp runs off the sides instead of tracking into the bed.

Commercial Grade Vinyl Tarp

Drop the tailgate, release the cover and roll it up to the cab. Nylon buckle straps hold the roll in place so you can drive with a completely open bed when you are hauling something tall.

Clamps On Without Drilling
Tight Bite clamps grip the inside lip of the bed rails, so nothing is cut, trimmed or bored out. XT-Dial adjusters on the rails let you take up slack later if the tarp starts to sag.

Installation

Set the two side rails inside the bed, square them to the bulkhead and pinch them down with the Tight Bite clamps. Lay the tarp assembly over the rails, press the hook and loop strips along each side, then dial in tension until the surface sits flat. A few bed types have their own supplement sheet to follow.

The remedy is repair or replacement of the faulty part at the manufacturer's choice, with no labor or service allowance included. Access builds its tonneau covers in the United States and sells them as a ladder of roll-up models rather than one cover for every buyer. The Original sits in the upper half of that ladder and shares its aluminum frame and clamp mounting with the rest of the range.
