Access Original roll-up tonneau cover: Close-up of a rolled vinyl cover secured by a nylon storage strap and buckle on a red pickup

Opens up the whole bed

Release the latches, roll the cover toward the cab and buckle it with the storage straps. The entire box is free for tall loads, and the rolled cover stays off the cab while it waits.

Latches as soon as it closes

Press the rear bar down and the AutoLatch II latches catch under the side rails by themselves. A pull on the cord from either side frees both again.

Tension you set by hand

As the vinyl settles in, a few turns of the XT-Dial adjusters bring it back to drum tight. A tight cover runs quieter, wears longer and sheds rain instead of pooling it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Is the cover waterproof?

No soft roll-up cover makes a bed watertight. Seals on all four sides keep out most rain and dust, but Agri-Cover notes that some moisture and dust can still get in, so wrap cargo that must stay dry and seal any factory holes or stake pockets in the bed.

Does the cover lock?

The AutoLatch II latches engage every time you close the cover, and the release cord is reached with the tailgate open. With the tailgate locked, the bed is closed to casual access, but never leave valuables in an unattended truck.

How do I adjust the tension?

Turn the XT-Dial adjusters by hand, the same amount on each side, with no tools. A well-tensioned cover sounds like a drum when tapped, runs quieter and is less likely to hold standing water.

Can I still use my tailgate and a fifth-wheel hitch?

Yes. The tailgate opens and closes normally with the cover rolled up or latched, and for a fifth-wheel hitch you roll the cover to the front of the bed and secure it with the storage straps.

Will it work with my bed liner?

Spray-in liners, bed mats and most drop-in liners that sit under the rail work, with light trimming of an under-the-rail liner at the corners. An over-the-rail drop-in liner needs considerable trimming.

How should I clean the cover?

Use mild liquid soap and water, and treat the vinyl now and then with a UV protectant such as Access Cover Care. Avoid petroleum or citrus based cleaners, and brush snow off before rolling the cover up.
