Sits 1/2" above the box

The Vanish sits 1/2" above the bed rails, so the closed cover keeps a near-flush line along the truck. Black bars and rails under textured black vinyl keep the look clean.

Sealed tight at the bulkhead

A standard Element Seal gasket runs the full width of the bulkhead, backing up the front and rear seals and the foam on the side rails. It closes the gap where rain and dust tend to get in at the front of the box.

Release it with one finger

A trigger on the driver side lets the rear bar go with a single finger, and closing the cover resets the latch. Slide locks on both sides add a manual hold.

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Is the Vanish waterproof?

No soft roll-up cover is fully waterproof. Seals on all four sides and the bulkhead gasket keep most weather out, but some moisture and dust can still reach the bed, so wrap cargo that has to stay dry.

How does the Vanish lock?

A one-finger trigger on the driver side releases the rear bar, and the latch engages on its own when you close the cover. Slide locks on both sides add a second hold; with a locking tailgate the bed stays closed to casual access, though no soft cover is theft-proof.

How do I adjust the tension?

Roll the cover open and turn both XT-Dial adjusters by equal amounts: counterclockwise to tighten, clockwise to loosen. A properly set cover sounds drum-like when tapped and sheds water better.

Will it work with my bed liner?

Spray-in liners and bed mats are compatible. Drop-in liners that sit under the rail need minor trimming at the front corners and by the tailgate, and over-the-rail drop-ins need considerable modification.

Can I tow a fifth-wheel trailer with the cover installed?

Yes. Roll the cover up to the front of the box and secure it with the storage straps before hooking up.

Do I have to drill into my truck?

Standard Vanish installs clamp to the box, but some applications use special mounting hardware. The Installation tab on each listing shows exactly what that truck needs.
