The ARB JACK exists because farm jacks hurt people. They are genuinely useful and genuinely unstable, and the internet is full of footage of rogue handles and trapped hands. ARB's engineers set out to keep the long travel and lose the danger, and the answer was hydraulics.
Light pressure on the handle lifts the vehicle in 0.5" increments per stroke, smoothly, with no flying handle and no ratchet to skip. The red lowering lever gives a two stage descent so you can choose slow or rapid, and there is a safety stop. The body is aircraft grade 6061 T6 aluminum, the foot rotates a full 360 degrees to sit flat on uneven ground, and nine locating points give the adjustable hook a wide working range. ARB rates it to 4,409 lb, with a 6" to 48" lifting range, and builds it to AS/NZ 2693-2007 and ASME B30.1-2015.

Features
Hydraulic, Not Mechanical The core of the design. Light force on the handle lifts the vehicle in 0.5" increments per downward stroke. There is no ratchet to skip and no sprung handle waiting to come around and hit you.
Two Stage Descent And Safety Stop The red lowering lever gives a controlled two stage descent, slow or rapid, plus a safety stop. Lowering is where mechanical jacks are at their worst and where this design earns its price.
4,409 lb Capacity ARB rates the JACK to 4,409 lb, which is 2,000 kg. That is the lifting capacity of the jack, not the weight of a vehicle it can support: a jack lifts a corner, not the whole rig.
6" To 48" Lifting Range A 6" starting height and 48" of lift, with 21" to 22" of travel per cylinder unit and nine locating points for the adjustable hook. That covers a stock vehicle and a heavily lifted one.
Aircraft Grade Aluminum Body A 6061 T6 aluminum body, which is why a jack with this travel is still liftable with one hand. A steel farm jack of the same reach is a two hand item.
360 Degree Adjustable Foot The foot rotates a full 360 degrees so it can sit flat on ground that is not flat, which is the situation you are actually in when you need it.
Fitment & Compatibility
Use case
Fit
Lifting a bogged vehicle to fill voids under the tires
✓ Fits, this is the primary recovery use
Breaking a tire bead for a trail repair
✓ Fits, the same job a farm jack does
Vehicles needing a lift point between 6" and 48"
✓ Fits, ARB's published range
Lifting loads above 4,409 lb
● Exceeds ARB's published capacity
Working underneath a raised vehicle
● Never, on any jack. Use rated stands
Fit guidance: The JACK is universal equipment, not a fitted part. What it needs is a solid lift point on the vehicle: a rated recovery point, a sliders rail, or a purpose made jack point. Do not lift on a plastic bumper or a body panel.

Installation
Type: No installation. Recovery tool used at the point of use · Time: Minutes · Tools: None beyond the supplied handle. A jack base is strongly recommended on soft ground · Difficulty: Moderate
Never work under a vehicle supported only by a jack. On sand, mud or gravel, use a base plate; a jack that sinks or tips under load is the failure mode that hurts people. The owner's manual covers lift points and technique.

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. ARB publishes a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty on the ARB JACK, administered in North America by ARB North America (Air Locker Inc., Auburn, WA) and honored through authorized US dealers like us. ARB's schedule places wear items such as bushes, bearings, shackles, pins and gas struts on a 1 year or 25,000 mile term. We describe ARB's warranty exactly as published and do not extend or restate it.
Free shipping. This item ships free to the lower 48 states. Because it is an oversized item, it ships by freight and typically arrives in 3 to 7 business days.
Inspect on delivery. Please inspect the packaging before signing. If you see any damage, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us right away, and we will make it right.
Compliance. ARB states the JACK is built to AS/NZ 2693-2007 and ASME B30.1-2015.
About ARB
ARB started in 1975 in a Melbourne garage, when Tony Brown began building bull bars for the four wheel drives crossing Australia's outback, and it has grown into the largest 4x4 accessories maker in the southern hemisphere. Recovery gear is the part of the range where that history matters most: ARB's straps, shackles, blocks and boards are built for country where a failed recovery is measured in days of walking, and the company publishes its ratings rather than leaving buyers to guess.
In North America ARB operates from Auburn, Washington as Air Locker Inc., backing every product with a US warranty program. Prestige Truck is an authorized ARB dealer. Every piece of recovery gear we ship is a genuine US-market unit with full ARB North America warranty coverage and the rating printed on it by the people who tested it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
How is this different from a farm jack?
It is hydraulic rather than mechanical. Light pressure on the handle lifts in 0.5" increments with no ratchet to skip and no sprung handle. Lowering is controlled by a lever with a two stage descent rather than by carefully backing off a mechanism under load. It is also lighter and more compact for the same reach.
How much will it lift?
ARB rates it at 4,409 lb, which is 2,000 kg. Remember that a jack lifts one corner of a vehicle, so the rating is not the same as vehicle weight, but do not treat it as licence to exceed the figure.
What is the lifting range?
6" to 48", from a 35" compressed height to 56" extended, with nine locating points for the adjustable hook. That suits stock height vehicles through to substantially lifted ones.
Do I need a base plate?
On anything softer than pavement, yes. ARB makes the Jack Base (10100111) for this, and it is the single accessory that most changes how safely this jack works on sand, mud or gravel.
Does the ARB Handle Keeper fit it?
No. ARB is explicit that the Handle Keeper (10100112) is for farm and Hi-Lift style jacks and is not compatible with the ARB JACK.
What is the warranty?
ARB publishes a 3 year warranty on the JACK.

Look is great. 100 lbs
Look is great. 100 lbs lighter than my 2nd pick. Lid lock and opening are smooth. Only minor knock I give is the the tie down hooks are hard to install - thinking I should have done them before installing.

A must have
I really like this mat. I was apprehensive at first but, the mat does a great job of keeping things from sliding around without having to secure it. perfect fit. But i think i will be adding some short screws to secure the mat to the DECKED system.

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Better then expected.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.

The toolbox is nice. I
The toolbox is nice. I think Ill get a lot of years of service out of it. I like how the lid opens and the tie downs are a nice touch. It seems to be well built. And tough. Im pleased with my purchase and would buy another one.
