The 1.25M is the small ARB awning, and it is the one that makes sense on a short-wheelbase truck, a Jeep, or anywhere you only want shade over the door and the tailgate rather than half the campsite. It gives 49" of frontage along the vehicle and reaches 83" out from it, off a roof rack or roof bars, and it self-supports on anodized telescopic legs so nothing has to be tied to the vehicle.

The canvas is PU-coated 300GSM poly-cotton ripstop, fully waterproof with a UPF 50+ rating, and it stows in a heavy-duty nylon-reinforced bag with reinforced extrusions, molded ARB end caps and sail-track protection. ARB rates setup at five minutes and includes pegs, guy ropes, stainless mounting hardware and instructions, so the only decision left is which side of the vehicle it lives on.

PU-coated 300GSM poly-cotton ripstop canvas is fully waterproof and rated UPF 50+, and a reinforced panel is sewn in where wear shows up first in severe conditions.

Anodized height-adjustable telescopic legs let the awning stand on its own, adjust to sloping ground and set up in about five minutes. It suits mounting points up to 6.9' high.

Mounts to the side of most roof racks and roof bars with the supplied stainless hardware, and ARB's quick-release brackets are available if you want it removable in one bolt.

Installation

Type: Bolts to the side of a roof rack or roof bars using the supplied stainless hardware or ARB awning brackets  ·  Time: 30 to 60 minutes for the initial mount  ·  Tools: Socket set and wrenches; a second person to hold the awning against the rack  ·  Difficulty: Easy

The awning bolts through its mounting extrusion to the rack. Get the height and fore-aft position right before you torque anything, because that decides whether the legs land on level ground and whether the doors clear the deployed canvas. Setup at camp after that is about five minutes.

Warranty. ARB covers this product with a 3-year unlimited-mileage warranty through ARB North America (Air Locker Inc., Auburn, WA), which is the term ARB publishes for this part. Canvas and fabric goods are covered against manufacturing defects rather than wear, storm damage or UV degradation over time. We describe ARB's warranty exactly as ARB publishes it and make no additions to it; claims are handled through any authorized US dealer, including us.

Free shipping. This item ships free to the lower 48 states. Because it is an oversized item, it ships by freight and typically arrives in 3 to 7 business days.

Inspect on delivery. Please inspect the packaging before signing. If you see any damage, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us right away, and we will make it right.

Compliance. ARB rates the canvas UPF 50+.
