The Slimline light bar and the wiring loom needed to run it, in one part number. Buying the bar on its own leaves you sourcing a loom, a relay and a switch; this kit removes that step. The bar is the same 36" combo beam unit, tuned so its reflector does not throw glare back off the hood and bar work, delivering 1 lux at 2388 ft with up to 196 ft of spread from an extruded aluminum body with die cast end caps and a virtually indestructible polycarbonate lens.
The multi position mounts give three choices: in front of the rack, above it, or tucked underneath where the rack shields the light. ARB states these mounts suit the BASE Rack as well as ARB trade and touring racks. A rack is still required, and this kit does not include one.

The kit is the complete electrical answer: light bar plus the wiring loom, relay and switch. Buying the bar alone means sourcing all of that separately.
Reflector Tuned For Roof Mounting
Roof mounted bars normally reflect off the hood and bar work. ARB tuned this reflector to limit that, which is the difference at night.

Installation

Mechanical mounting is quick. The wiring is the bulk of the job, and the supplied loom, relay and switch cover it. Route the cable through the BASE Rack corner caps so it runs inside the beams rather than cable tied along the outside.
