The ARB Slide Kitchen is a full outdoor kitchen that lives in the back of the vehicle and rolls out of it: a two-burner propane stove with 8,530 BTU/h per burner and battery ignition, a 304 stainless steel bench measuring 19" by 36.5", a 7.3 quart collapsible silicone sink that folds out on either side of the stove, and a utensil drawer underneath. ARB rates setup at fifteen seconds.
The part that makes it work is the extension roller design. Fully extended, the kitchen clears the vehicle completely and locks into place standing on its own, with no support leg to fuss with and nothing resting on the tailgate. It shares the dimensions of ARB's full-height Outback Solutions drawer profiles, so it can sit alongside ARB drawers as one integrated system or go in as a standalone unit in a custom build.

Features
Two Real Burners Twin propane burners at 8,530 BTU/h each with a 1.5V DC battery igniter, so it lights on a button and puts out enough heat to actually cook for a group rather than warm a can.
Stainless Bench You Can Work On A 304 stainless steel kitchen-grade bench top, 19" wide by 36.5" long. It cleans down properly and it is large enough to prep on while both burners are in use.
Collapsible Sink A 7.3 quart silicone sink with a plug folds out on either side of the stove for washing up, then collapses flat into the drawer when you pack down.
Freestanding When Extended The retractable extension rollers give complete clearance of the vehicle. Once out and locked, the kitchen stands on its own with no support leg required and nothing loaded onto the tailgate.

Fit guidance: The 1045mm module is the shorter of the two Slide Kitchens. What decides fit is the length, width and height of your cargo area and how the module is secured to the floor, not the vehicle make. Measure the usable floor length and the height available under a closed rear door before ordering, and remember that the kitchen slides fully clear of the vehicle in use, so you also need room behind it.

A 158 lb steel module needs proper anchoring to the vehicle floor, not just placing in the back. Plan the mounting points and the fore-aft position so the slides clear the rear door aperture fully when extended, and follow the ARB instructions supplied with the unit.

Straight answers on specs, fit and support
Does it need a support leg when it is out?
No. The retractable extension roller design gives full clearance of the vehicle and locks out, and ARB states it is completely freestanding at that point. Nothing rests on the tailgate or the bumper.
1045mm or 1355mm, which one do I need?
Measure your cargo floor. The 1045 needs roughly 41" of length and gives a 36.5" bench with a 7.3 quart sink; the 1355 needs roughly 53" and gives a 49" bench with a 12.6 quart sink and a deeper drawer. Both use the same twin 8,530 BTU/h burners.
What fuel does the stove run on?
Propane. The hose is included and lives in the utensil drawer with the collapsed sink when the kitchen is packed. The igniter runs on a 1.5V DC battery, so there is no pilot to light manually.
Can I install it without an ARB drawer system?
Yes. It shares the dimensions of ARB's full-height Outback Solutions drawer profiles so it can be integrated with them, but ARB explicitly supports installing it as a standalone unit for custom builds.
How heavy is it and can I install it alone?
The module is 158 lb, so plan on a hoist or several people. It also needs to be properly anchored to the cargo floor rather than simply set in place, because 158 lb of steel loose in a vehicle is a serious hazard in a collision.

Look is great. 100 lbs lighter than my 2nd pick. Lid lock and opening are smooth. Only minor knock I give is the the tie down hooks are hard to install - thinking I should have done them before installing.

I really like this mat. I was apprehensive at first but, the mat does a great job of keeping things from sliding around without having to secure it. perfect fit. But i think i will be adding some short screws to secure the mat to the DECKED system.

I never knew how much I needed this
As with all BAK covers, the quality is amazing. What I didnt fully appreciate until installing was the ease of opening - especially in a lifted truck. No more need to find the right handhold. Just roll it back with a single hand. Its also great to see out of my rear window when fully open - something you lose with the fold back covers. Customer service is awesome. I has an installation question and the representative stayed on the line as I adjusted an alignment to ensure I did it properly.

Better then expected.
Searched for about 6 months to find the tonneau cover. I really wanted the security of a hard top without sticking above the bed rails it checked those boxes. I also did not want to drill my truck bed. The install was super simple my wife and I had it on the truck in about a half an hour.

The toolbox is nice. I think Ill get a lot of years of service out of it. I like how the lid opens and the tie downs are a nice touch. It seems to be well built. And tough. Im pleased with my purchase and would buy another one.
