- Center Section Only: This is the center section of a Turnoverball gooseneck hitch, not a complete hitch. B&W sells each kit as two boxes, and the under-bed mounting kit for your truck is the other one.
- Socket, Ball and Latch: On B&W's install sheets the center section is the piece with the round receiver tube that comes up through the 4" bed hole, and the latch pin that locks the ball rides in it. Box contents for your part are listed below.
- Ball Turns Over to Stow: Pull the wheel-well handle to open the latch pin, lift the 2-5/16" ball out and set it back upside down in the socket. Release the handle and the spring locks the pin again, leaving the bed floor clear.
- Rated to Your Truck's Limits: B&W publishes no separate hitch number: a complete Turnoverball's limit is your truck's own tow rating, never more. Check your truck's ratings before every heavy pull. B&W tests its hitches to SAE J2638.
- Fits Its Parent Kits: A center section fits B&W hitch kits, not trucks directly. Some are shared by several kits, so the kit numbers and their mounting kits are listed with your part below.
- Made in the USA: B&W builds the Turnoverball in Humboldt, Kansas, from American-made steel.

Part GNRC1252 is the working half of B&W's Turnoverball kit GNRK1222: the center section that holds the gooseneck receiver socket. B&W lists the box at 39 lb. The frame brackets come separately, in mounting kit GNRM1222.

Check your fit: your hitch is (or will be) B&W Turnoverball kit GNRK1222 with mounting kit GNRM1222. B&W puts no model or part number on the hitch, so if you are unsure, contact us with your truck's year, make and model and photos of the center section and the side plate.
Not for: Turnoverball kits built around a different center section, for example GNRC1250 (GNRK1251); GNRC1256 (GNRK1257); GNRC1219 (GNRK1208, GNRK1217); GNRC962 (GNRK1062); GNRC959N (GNRK1007, GNRK1057, GNRK1059, GNRK1067, GNRK1104). Not included: the mounting kit for your truck (GNRM1222).

No. The frame brackets come in the mounting kit (GNRM1222), sold separately. B&W's kit page lists this part as its own box.
How do I tell which Turnoverball I have?
B&W puts no model or part number on the Turnoverball. Contact us with your truck's year, make and model plus photos of the center section and the side plate, and we will confirm the matching part with B&W.
How do I keep the ball from seizing?
Coat the four corners of the square post with white lithium grease whenever the coating wears off. How often depends on how much you tow and how dirty the roads are.
My ball is stuck. What can I try?
B&W suggests letting penetrating oil soak in, even over several days, and then tapping lightly around the ball with a hammer. Keep the taps light.
Can I leave the ball upside down while hauling?
Not under heavy loads on a two-wheel-drive truck. B&W warns the inverted ball can hit the top of the differential, so take it out of the socket before you load.
