The BackRack Trace Rack pairs the look of a sport bar with room for a tonneau cover, built from 14-gauge steel plate in semi-gloss black powder coat. It works with most over-the-rail tonneau covers, has pre-drilled holes for optional lighting, and its side panels come off for a custom look. An optional cab safety screen completes the package.

The Trace Rack installs at home with its vehicle-specific hardware kit, and most late-model trucks need no drilling.
Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. BackRack covers the Trace Rack with a 1 year limited structural warranty. Coverage applies to the original end user only and cannot be transferred. Inspect on delivery. Please inspect the box and every part when it arrives and report any shipping damage before installing, so a replacement can be arranged quickly.

About BackRack
BackRack builds steel headache racks that stand between the truck bed and the cab, guarding the rear window and cab from cargo that slides forward. The racks are made for trucks that work hard during the week and still need to look sharp when the job is done.
Every BackRack frame mounts to the bed through a truck-specific installation kit. Separate kits let the rack live alongside a crossover toolbox, a bedliner or a tonneau cover that clamps to the inside of the bed rail.
Because a BackRack sits low behind the cab, the truck still fits in a home garage and multi-level parking. Light brackets, tool holders, side rails and a rear bar turn the same frame into a platform for lights, long loads and gear, and the steel is finished in a powder coat applied in house.
