The kit mounts in the factory fog light openings using brackets made for this vehicle. How the lights are switched depends on the kit: some connect to the factory fog circuit and others use a toggle or upfitter harness. Aim the lights low with the vehicle parked on level ground. Warranty. Baja Designs warranties cover defects in design and manufacturing only, and the term depends on the product type. LED light bars and auxiliary lights for recreational use carry a limited lifetime warranty capped at 49,930 hours of operation. Brackets, wiring harnesses and switches that Baja Designs resells from other makers carry that maker's own warranty, which Baja Designs passes through. Installation errors, wear and tear, misuse, accidents, collisions, modifications and installation labor are not covered, and claims need proof of purchase or product registration. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the carton when the order is placed. Inspect on delivery. Open the carton when it arrives and check every light, bracket, harness and hardware bag against the kit contents before you start the install. Report shipping damage or a missing part right away, before anything is mounted.

Baja Designs began in San Diego, California in 1992, started by riders with a habit of racing the Baja 1000. Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Can I use this fog light kit on public roads?

That depends on the lights in the kit. Baja Designs SAE fog lights such as the Squadron SAE and S2 SAE are built to the SAE fog standard, while Sport, Pro and S1 pods are off-road lights that Baja Designs rates for off-road use only. Many kits mix the two. The spec table for this product shows which applies, and you should check your local laws.

Will it work with my bumper?

Fog pocket brackets are bumper specific. Some kits fit only a plastic bumper, a steel bumper or a particular trim, so match your bumper to the fit notes before ordering.

Can I keep using the factory fog switch?

Many kits connect to the factory fog circuit, and some use a toggle or upfitter harness instead. The fit notes and Wiring Type option for this kit show how it is switched.

Should I choose clear or amber?

Where a Baja Amber lens is offered, it cuts glare in dust, fog, rain and snow. Clear gives whiter light for general use. The colors available for this kit are listed in the options.

Can I change the lens on an SAE fog light?

No. Baja Designs SAE lights use pre-aligned optics that produce their sharp cutoff, so the lens is not user-replaceable. If one is damaged, the light goes back to Baja Designs for service.

What does the Baja Designs warranty cover?

The lights carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in design and manufacturing for recreational use, capped at 49,930 hours of operation, for the original owner with proof of purchase.
