The S2 Pro Infrared LED Light Pod gives covert infrared illumination from Baja Designs: light the ground ahead for night vision equipment while showing nothing to the naked eye. It suits military, security, hunting and other stealth work where visible light would give away your position. It ships as Baja Designs part 487073. Choose ir wavelength from the options above; each option is its own Baja Designs part number, listed under Specifications.
Infrared pods ship without a wiring harness and need night vision equipment to be useful; both are sold separately.
Features
Invisible to the eye
Infrared LEDs emit light outside the visible range, so the area is lit for night vision devices while the vehicle stays dark to onlookers.
850 nanometers or 940 nanometers wavelength
Baja Designs offers 850 nanometers and 940 nanometers infrared across this family; 940 nanometers is the more covert of the two, while 850 nanometers gives night vision gear more to work with.
Compact, discreet housing
Small housings mount almost anywhere on a vehicle and are easy to keep out of sight.
Made for night vision users
Built for drivers and operators using night vision goggles or NODs on patrol, in the field or on the hunt.
Lifetime warranty coverage
Baja Designs backs its auxiliary lights for recreational use with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in design and manufacturing.

Installation
Infrared pods mount to a bracket or panel and connect to a fused, switched harness like any auxiliary light. Aim them with night vision equipment on so you can see the beam, and route wiring clear of heat and moving parts.

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. Baja Designs warranties cover defects in design and manufacturing only, and the term depends on the product type. LED light bars and auxiliary lights for recreational use carry a limited lifetime warranty capped at 49,930 hours of operation. Brackets, wiring harnesses and switches that Baja Designs resells from other makers carry that maker's own warranty, which Baja Designs passes through. Installation errors, wear and tear, misuse, accidents, collisions, modifications and installation labor are not covered, and claims need proof of purchase or product registration. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the carton when the order is placed. Inspect on delivery. Please inspect the package and every part as soon as it arrives, and report shipping damage or missing items before installing so a replacement can be arranged quickly.
Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, return shipping is on us. See our Returns & Refunds Policy, or email support@prestigetruck.com with any question.
About Baja Designs
Baja Designs was founded in San Diego, California in 1992 by Alan Roach, a motorcycle racer who competed in the Baja 1000. The first product was a dual sport kit for off-road motorcycles, and the company went on to build HID race lights that ended up on many winning Baja 1000 bikes, trucks and buggies.
That racing work earned the engineering team the nickname The Scientists of Lighting, and professional teams began asking them to design and aim their lighting. In 2005 Baja Designs raced a forward-projecting LED light bar at the Baja 1000, the starting point for the LED pods and bars in the current range.
The company is now based in San Marcos, California, where it engineers and builds LED lighting for trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, UTVs and motorcycles.
