Features
- Factory Fog Pocket Fit: Vehicle-specific brackets put Baja Designs LED pods in the factory fog light openings, so the added output hides in a stock-looking spot.
- Off-Road Output Down Low: Baja Designs off-road LED pods light the ground ahead of the bumper and the edges of the trail from the fog pocket. Baja Designs rates them for off-road use only.
- Lens Patterns by Lighting Zone: Baja Designs matches lens patterns to its Lighting Zones, from dust and fog light to wide cornering and driving beams; the pattern for each kit is in its spec table.
- Serviceable, Swappable Lenses: Baja Designs' uService O-ring design lets the off-road lights be opened, serviced and fitted with a different lens kit later, so a cracked lens is not a dead light.
- Sealed Against Water and Dust: Baja Designs seals its lights with O-rings rather than silicone beads and rates them IP69K, so rain, pressure washing and river crossings stay outside the housing.
- Lifetime Limited Warranty: The lights carry Baja Designs' limited lifetime warranty for recreational use plus its 30-day satisfaction guarantee; brackets and harnesses carry their maker's warranty.

About Baja Designs
Baja Designs started in San Diego, California in 1992, founded by riders who raced the Baja 1000. Its engineers tuned race lights for night stages, which earned them the nickname The Scientists of Lighting, and in 2005 the company ran its first forward-projecting LED light bar in the Baja 1000.
Today Baja Designs lights trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, vans, UTVs and motorcycles. Its Lighting Zones method matches the lens pattern to the job and the mounting spot on the vehicle: dust and fog, cornering, driving, spot, rock and cargo, and reverse. Baja Designs is part of the Bestop Premium Accessories Group.
Authorized Baja Designs dealer. Prestige Truck is an authorized Baja Designs dealer. Baja Designs says its full limited warranty does not apply to lights bought from unauthorized marketplace sellers; a purchase here carries it, and you can bring any claim to us first.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will the S2 Sport Dual Fog Pocket Light Kit fit my vehicle?
The fit table lists the 2024-2026 Toyota Tacoma (4th gen; not TRD Pro). Will NOT work on TRD Pro models. Check your year and model in the fit table, and send us your VIN if you would like us to confirm.
Clear or amber lens?
Baja Designs says its Baja Amber lens cuts glare in dust, rain, snow and fog; clear gives a whiter light for general use. Part numbers: Baja Amber 448259 and Clear 448238.
Are these kits legal on the street?
Only the SAE lights. Baja Designs builds its SAE fog lights to the SAE J583 fog standard; its Sport, Pro, S1 and XL pods are off-road lights that Baja Designs rates for off-road use only. Each kit's spec table shows which lights it uses, and local laws still apply.
Will the factory fog light switch still work?
On many kits, yes: adapter harnesses plug into the factory fog connectors so the SAE pair or the pods run from the stock switch. Other kits use a toggle or upfitter harness instead.
Do I need a particular bumper or trim?
Often. Fog pocket brackets are shaped for one bumper, so some kits fit only the plastic, steel or Rubicon bumper, or exclude TRD Pro, LED-fog or DRL-equipped trucks. Match your vehicle to the fit notes before you order.
Can I change the lens later?
On the off-road pods, yes: Baja Designs' uService design lets you fit a different lens kit. The SAE fog lights use sealed, pre-aligned optics for their cutoff, so their lens is not user-replaceable.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow Baja Designs' install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact positions, wiring and hardware.
- Tacoma: with the truck in park on level ground and the parking brake on, remove the felt under-panel bolts and the bolts holding the front clip to the lower supports and fender flares (10mm), then pull the sides of the front clip out and forward to release them.
- Remove the four air box inlet push rivets and the inlet, the three grille-to-core-support bolts (10mm), lift the front clip off onto a soft surface, then remove the six shutter bolts (10mm) and the fog light cover screws (Phillips) and unclip the cover.
- Remove the two Phillips screws each side of the factory fog light and unplug it.
- Put the 3/8" bolt and washer through each standard light bracket, hand-tighten the nut, fit the lights with a 4mm Allen wrench and mount them on the vehicle-specific bracket.
- Plug the wire harness adapters into the factory fog light harnesses and the new lights, tuck the wires behind the lights and screw the assemblies in with the factory fog light screws.
- Refit the front clip in reverse order, tie all wires away from hot, sharp or moving parts and re-tighten all fasteners after 100 miles.
