The S8 30" Grille Upper Mount Kit places Baja Designs LED lighting in the front-end openings of this vehicle, such as the grille, lower grille or vents, so the lights sit inside the body lines instead of on top of them. Brackets made for this vehicle hold the lights in place behind or within the opening. A grille-mounted setup adds serious forward light while keeping the vehicle's stock face. This kit is Baja Designs part 447792 for the 2011-2016 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty.

Anything a kit needs beyond the box, such as drilling, trimming or a compatible grille, is listed in that kit's fit notes.

Features

Hidden in the front openings
The lights sit inside the grille or vent openings, keeping the front end clean and the lights protected from brush and branches.

Brackets made for this vehicle
Each bracket is shaped for this vehicle's grille or vent area, so the lights line up with the opening without fabrication.

Baja Designs LED lights included
Each kit comes with Baja Designs LED lights. The series, count and beam pattern for this product are shown in the options and spec table.

Lens patterns sorted by zone
Baja Designs organizes its lens patterns by lighting zone, from wide near-field and cornering light to long-range spot, so a setup can be tuned to how you drive.

Sealed against weather and dust
Baja Designs LED lights use sealed housings and hard lenses meant to keep running through rain, mud, dust and road spray.

Lifetime limited warranty on lights
The lights carry the Baja Designs limited lifetime warranty for recreational use, and brackets and harnesses carry their maker's pass-through warranty.

Installation

The kit mounts in or behind this vehicle's grille or front openings on brackets made for it. Some installs need the grille or trim pieces removed for access. Route the harness through the engine bay to the switch the kit uses, then aim the lights on level ground. The fit notes below list any drilling, trimming or grille compatibility the kit requires.

Warranty, Shipping & Returns

Warranty. Baja Designs warranties cover defects in design and manufacturing only, and the term depends on the product type. LED light bars and auxiliary lights for recreational use carry a limited lifetime warranty capped at 49,930 hours of operation. Brackets, wiring harnesses and switches that Baja Designs resells from other makers carry that maker's own warranty, which Baja Designs passes through. Installation errors, wear and tear, misuse, accidents, collisions, modifications and installation labor are not covered, and claims need proof of purchase or product registration. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the carton when the order is placed. Inspect on delivery. Open the carton when it arrives and check every light, bracket, harness and hardware bag against the kit contents before you start the install. Report shipping damage or a missing part right away, before anything is mounted.

Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, return shipping is on us. See our Returns & Refunds Policy, or email support@prestigetruck.com with any question.

About Baja Designs

Baja Designs began in San Diego, California in 1992, started by riders with a habit of racing the Baja 1000. Its first product turned pure dirt motorcycles into minimally street-ready dual-sport bikes, and its work tuning race lights for night stages earned its engineers the name The Scientists of Lighting.

From motorcycle HID race lights the company moved into truck and buggy racing, and in 2005 it ran its first forward-projecting LED light bar in the Baja 1000. That race program still feeds the design of every LED pod and bar the company builds.

Today Baja Designs lights trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, vans, UTVs and motorcycles, using its Lighting Zones method: pick the right lens pattern for each job and put it in the right place on the vehicle.

Grille Light Kits by Baja Designs: Dark Ford Super Duty in a shop with a lit LED light bar mounted across the upper grille above the Ford oval.

Forward light, stock face

Lights inside the grille or vents throw light straight down the trail from a protected spot, adding real reach and spread while the vehicle keeps its factory look.

Grille Light Kits by Baja Designs: Black Ford Super Duty dually parked in a grassy field with an LED light bar in the upper grille.

Protected inside the opening

Set back in the front openings, the lights are shielded from brush and stones. Baja Designs builds them with sealed housings and hard lenses for rain, dust and spray.

Grille Light Kits by Baja Designs: A 30-inch S8 LED light bar with clear lenses, four gray angle brackets and a wiring harness on white.

Brackets that belong there

Vehicle-specific brackets hold the lights square in the opening for a finished, factory-style install. The lights carry the Baja Designs limited lifetime warranty for recreational use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Can I run these lights on public roads?

The lights in this line are auxiliary off-road lights, not SAE or DOT road lamps. Baja Designs rates its non-SAE lights for off-road use only, so switch them off on the street and check your local laws before you drive with them on.

Will grille lights affect cooling or sensors?

The kits are designed around this vehicle's front end. Any sensor, camera or cruise-control conflict Baja Designs knows of is listed in the fit notes, so read them before ordering.

Will it fit my grille?

Grille style varies by trim. Check the fitment table and fit notes to confirm the kit matches your grille or bumper.

Which beam pattern should I choose?

Wide cornering patterns light the sides at lower speeds, driving/combo balances spread and reach, and spot throws farthest. The patterns available for this kit are listed in the options.

Is a wiring harness included?

The parts in this exact kit are listed under What's Included, and the fit notes call out anything sold separately.

What does the Baja Designs warranty cover?

The lights carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in design and manufacturing for recreational use, capped at 49,930 hours of operation, for the original owner with proof of purchase. Brackets and harnesses pass through their maker's warranty. Damage from installation errors, accidents, misuse or modification is not covered.
