BEDSLIDE Drawer System Features And Benefits

A longer look at how a loaded BEDSLIDE works day to day, including the cargo management options that the BEDBIN accessories plug into.

BEDSLIDE Weather Resistance

How BEDSLIDE builds for a part that lives outdoors year round, which is the same reason the bins use aluminum, composite and an all-weather soft liner.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Which guardrail kit do I need?

Measure your BEDSLIDE deck length. BEDSLIDE sizes the kits as 80" for 95" applications, 60" for 70" to 79" applications, and 50" for 65" and shorter. This listing is the BSA-GRK60, for 79" to 70" applications. Deck sizes are outer dimensions built to a .25" tolerance, so measure rather than assume.

Does my BEDSLIDE already have guardrails?

Probably, if it is recent. BEDSLIDE has included a full perimeter guardrail kit on CLS part numbers released from 1 October 2018 onward, and current CLASSIC, CONTRACTOR, HEAVY DUTY and MAX slides all ship with one. This upgrade kit is for older decks that went out without rails.

Will it fit an older BEDSLIDE?

Up to a point. The kit is not compatible with 2015 and earlier generation BEDSLIDE models, which is BEDSLIDE's own cutoff. If your deck predates that generation there is no guardrail kit for it.

What can I mount to the guardrail once it is on?

The rail carries a T-slot track, which is what the BEDBIN Side Kix bins and the upper BEDBIN trays hang from, and D-ring tie-downs slide into it anywhere along its length. For a lot of owners the accessory compatibility is the real reason to fit rails, not the containment.

Can I leave it on the truck in bad weather?

Yes. BEDSLIDE builds the whole product line to live outdoors in the same weather the slide does, and this part is no exception. What the warranty does not cover is corrosion of the steel frame caused by exposure, so rinsing road salt off in the spring is worth the five minutes.

What does the BEDSLIDE warranty cover on an accessory like this?

Every BEDSLIDE product carries a 5-year warranty, and BEDSLIDE extends it to a lifetime warranty if you register the product within 30 days of purchase. Coverage is for the original owner and does not transfer if you sell the truck or the part. What is not covered is worth knowing up front: misuse, loading past the rated capacity, corrosion of the steel frame from exposure, deck de-lamination caused by water, fuel or chemical spills, modifications that change the design, improper installation, accidents, and neglect. Register it when it arrives, not later.
