BEDSLIDE Specs, Measurements And Accessories

A run through how BEDSLIDE measures its decks and how the accessory range attaches to them. Handy for checking rail lengths and clearances before you add bins or trays.

Built Weather Resistant

How BEDSLIDE's materials stand up to weather: the composite WEATHERDECK, coated steel frame and sealed hardware, shown outdoors rather than in a studio. A slide lives in an open bed, so this is the durability story that matters most day to day.

The Lifetime Warranty

BEDSLIDE explains its warranty: five years on every slide, extended to lifetime coverage when you register within 30 days of purchase. It is the original owner's warranty, so register it when it arrives and the slide is covered for as long as you keep the truck.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

What problem does this actually solve?

A tailgate accessory sitting in the path of the slide. BEDSLIDE names Ford tailgate step up kits specifically, and the same issue comes up with bed extenders, step assists and some liner lips. The blocks raise the whole slide so the deck travels over the obstruction instead of catching on it.

Will it fit my BEDSLIDE?

Yes. The kit raises the mounting frame rather than changing the slide, so it is not tied to a series or a deck size. A 1000 CLASSIC, a 1500 CONTRACTOR, a 2000 HEAVY DUTY and a MAX Extension all take the same blocks.

Does raising the slide cause any problems?

One worth thinking about before you order: everything on the deck goes up by the height of the blocks. If you run a tonneau cover, a cap or a low rack, measure the clearance you have now, because a loaded deck that used to slide under the cover might not afterwards.

Does the slide work any differently once it is lifted?

No. The extension, the latch positions and the bearings are all untouched, because the lift happens underneath the frame. The only thing that changes is how high the deck sits.

Is this a hard job?

Middling. The BEDSLIDE has to come loose so the blocks can go between the frame and the bed floor, then go back down onto them, so budget about an hour and get a second person for the lift. Roll the deck fully in and out before you load it, to confirm the obstruction is genuinely cleared.

What does the BEDSLIDE warranty cover on an accessory like this?

Every BEDSLIDE product carries a 5-year warranty, and BEDSLIDE extends it to a lifetime warranty if you register the product within 30 days of purchase. Coverage is for the original owner and does not transfer if you sell the truck or the part. What is not covered is worth knowing up front: misuse, loading past the rated capacity, corrosion of the steel frame from exposure, deck de-lamination caused by water, fuel or chemical spills, modifications that change the design, improper installation, accidents, and neglect. Register it when it arrives, not later.
