This is the no-drill mounting kit for a 2016 to 2019 Toyota Tacoma with the 5' bed. Rather than putting fasteners through the bed floor, BEDSLIDE's patented brackets clamp to the factory bed bolts, so the slide anchors to structure Toyota already built to carry load and the composite bed is left alone. That last part matters more on a Tacoma than on most trucks, because the bed is not steel and a drilled hole in it is not something you undo. The kit is a set of cab end brackets, a set of center mount brackets, and (8) 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts with Locktite 242. Confirm before ordering that your bed bolts will loosen. Removing them needs a T-55 Torx bit and a ratchet, and neither those nor replacement bed bolts are included. The BEDSLIDE is sold separately.

No Drilling Into Your Truck Bed
This is the whole point. BEDSLIDE's patented mounting brackets use your truck's existing factory bed bolts to secure the slide, so the bed floor stays exactly as the factory made it. Nothing to seal, nothing to touch up, and nothing that shows when the slide comes out.

Built for One Truck
These brackets are cut for the 2016 to 2019 Toyota Tacoma and nothing else. That is why BEDSLIDE sells a kit per application rather than a universal bracket: the mounting points move between generations and bed lengths, and a bracket that nearly lines up is worse than no bracket at all.

Installs With Hand Tools

Check Your Bed Bolts Can Be Loosened First
BEDSLIDE asks you to confirm this before ordering, and it is worth taking seriously on an older or salted truck. The install starts by removing the factory bed bolts, which needs a T-55 Torx bit and a ratchet that are not included, and a seized bolt turns a straightforward afternoon into a much longer one. New bed bolts are not included in the kit.

This kit is listed as working with BEDSLIDE parts 10-5841-CLS and 10-5841-CLB. The no-drill kits fit the 1000 lb models, which means the S model and the CLASSIC in Silver and Black Edition, and they are not compatible with 2017 and previous CL parts.

Installation

Loosen the factory bed bolts, fit the cab end and center mount brackets to those locations, then retighten with the supplied 5/16-18 serrated flange nuts and the Locktite 242 that comes in the kit. Confirm before you start that your bed bolts will actually come loose, which is BEDSLIDE's own advice and matters most on an older or road-salted truck. New bed bolts are not included, so have replacements on hand if yours look tired. Set the slide down onto the brackets last, and re-check every fastener after the first few loaded trips.
