- The heart of the exhaust: A Mid-Section replaces the mufflers and center piping, where most of the exhaust sound is shaped, and hands off to the tail pipes behind it.
- Works with factory tail pipes: Each assembly connects to the truck's original tail pipes or to Borla tail pipes sold separately. On some trucks the driver-side factory tail pipe is cut to fit; the fit notes say where.
- Most aggressive Borla sound: ATAK is the highest sound level Borla makes, a full and aggressive note shaped by its tuned solid and perforated muffler cores.

Description & Fitment
Part 60737 brings Borla's ATAK sound level to the 2023-2026 F-150 Raptor R and its supercharged 5.2L V8. The 3" true dual muffler assembly keeps active exhaust valves and combines Polyphonic Harmonizer units with Borla's SwitchFire crossover in place of a conventional X-pipe. Borla's sheet has you remove only the tailpipes, over-axle pipes and muffler assembly, so the converters stay put. Run it with the factory tailpipes or Borla kit 60727. Borla describes ATAK as aggressive and race-bred.

What is a Mid-Section system?
It is the middle of the exhaust: the mufflers and center piping between the catalytic converters and the tail pipes. Borla builds these assemblies for trucks whose rear exhaust can be kept or swapped separately.
Do I need new tail pipes?
No. Each assembly works with the truck's original tail pipes, and Borla also sells tail pipes with its own tips if you want a new look at the back. On some trucks the sheet calls for cutting the driver-side factory tail pipe.
Will an ATAK Mid-Section drone?
Borla states that the ATAK Mid-Sections in this group have no drone inside the vehicle, even at the loudest Borla sound level.
Can I send it back if I don't like the sound?
Borla does not warrant sound level, because how an exhaust sounds is a personal call, and it asks owners not to return a part for that reason. Settle on the sound level before you order. Borla notes that venturis, available from a retailer, can quiet a system later. For any other return question, contact us before you ship anything back.

Here's the short version. Follow Borla's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps.
- Lubricate all hangers, rubber isolators, bolts and nuts.
- Remove the hardware that attaches the original right rear isolator assembly to the vehicle and remove the assembly from the tailpipe. Save hardware and isolator for re-installation.
- Remove the hardware that attaches the original right center isolator assembly to the vehicle. Lift the isolator assembly upward so that it releases from the frame and remove the assembly from the tailpipe. Save hardware and isolator for re-installation.
- Loosen clamp that attaches the right tailpipe to the exhaust system. Using a flathead screwdriver or a prybar, pry up on the clip to release the tailpipe from the vehicle.
- Remove right tailpipe from the vehicle by sliding the inlet out of the original exhaust system and lowering it to the floor.
- Repeat steps 2-5 on the left tailpipe of the vehicle.

Borla's Million-Mile Warranty covers this part for one million miles against flaws in its materials or workmanship.- Coverage belongs to the original purchaser of record, on the vehicle the part was first installed on.
- Black coatings, tip finishes, carbon fiber and moving parts such as valves and actuators carry a one-year term. Blemishes or marring caused by weather, road hazards, lack of maintenance or extreme heat or cold are not covered.
- Borla inspects the returned part, and when it finds a manufacturing or material defect it repairs or replaces the part, at Borla's option.
- Sound level is not warranted, since sound is a matter of taste. Borla notes that venturis can be fitted to quiet a system.
- Universal mufflers must be joined at their inlet and outlet necks. Welding to the case shell or end caps voids the warranty.
- Not covered: the cost of removal or reinstallation; damage from accident, abuse, misuse or misapplication; parts that are modified or used for something other than their intended purpose; racing products, and street parts used for racing.
- To claim, contact us first with your order number and a short description of the problem. Borla asks for proof of the retail purchase date, and your Prestige Truck receipt is that proof. A part sent back to Borla travels with freight prepaid by the sender, packed well, since Borla cannot accept parts damaged in transit.

I am a Borla fan for life. Even paired with high flow cats, there is still no drone. This exhaust system paired with the SPD downpipes and turbo adapters really let the twin turbos breath and screams.

new mid pipes on a 2020 Ford Raptor
they arrived on time, the fit was perfect, and the installation was very easy on a lift. the only thing that surprised me was the fact that they are much louder than expected and unless the truck is in 10th gear, there is some done noise in the cab at higher speeds.

Awsome exuast!
I have a 2018 Ford Raptor and it sounded like a kitten. I put the Borla exhaust on now it sounds like the beast this truck is. I recomend this to any one that love a nice sound. It is quiet at lights but you step on and it's all man!

Sounds amazing !!! Very happy with this exhaust system... It sounds mean as !! But in contradiction to the videos I've seen online, there is quite a constant drone in the cab while cruising on the highway even with minimal gas pedal pressure. However it sounds grunty as ! When you do put the foot down... WOW !! people with definitely hear you... Very suited to the raptor !! I've had so many compliments already on the sound. Come on FORD this should be fitted as Stock on such an awesome machine.

Fantastic but Loud
I love this with all my heart. Cold starts... early in the morning. You will wake up your Neighbors!!! Drones over 70 mph. When you step on it. People will hear you a half mile away. It’s a truck changer. Just be aware that videos of the sound don’t do it justice. I would not recommend this if you want to keep your kids asleep as you drive. Besides that. It’s amazing.

Makes the truck sound like a truck
Great volume, minimal drone. The sound is very "X-Pipe" like with just a touch of rasp. I like it more than the stock for sure. I know it's very controversial to change the exhaust in this thing, but I honestly couldn't stand what the factory had on there. When you're getting on the throttle in sport mode it is LOUD. Just be ready for that. The idle rumble is on point and install took just as long as they said. Watch out for the clamps, they are not all the same size with lead me to a 15 min detour by having to remove and reinstall.

These Pipes Are The Best You're Going To Get!
Absolutely love the exhaust system i put on my Ford Raptor, Its tough finding pipes that make a turbo charge sound "good" but this combined with intake and some other tweaks, gave me what i want. Love the Pipes. Sounds great and help get the sound of my truck proper.

Best sounding
If you want aggressive sounding this is the one to buy . The cab noise is great doesn’t drone . Only really loud loud on cold start ups and when u get on it but cruising it’s right amount loud

OMG the power gain and the torque were amazing once I bolted this on the sound is awesome but I use my truck for for work and it is too loud after I uploaded the stage 2 Cobb programmers do it a bit to loud now I’m tacking it off and I Will be putting it on craigslist
