Description & Fitment
Part RVB3305 is the base half of B&W kit RVK3305, the 25K Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch for Ford Pucks; the coupler head is not included. With coupler head RVC3006 on top, B&W rates that kit at 25,000 lb GTW and 6,250 lb pin weight. In use it sets over the factory pucks (Ford factory fifth wheel prep package (bed pucks)) in the bed of the 2012-2025 Ford F-250 Super Duty, 2012-2025 Ford F-350 Super Duty and 2012-2025 Ford F-450 Super Duty. B&W's parts list for this base shows the pivot arms and the leveling spring.

B&W.
Roger Baker and Joe Works founded B&W Trailer Hitches in 1987, working out of a garage where they built custom truck beds; the company name comes from their initials. Customers wanted a gooseneck ball that would not sit welded in the middle of the bed, and their answer was the Turnoverball: it mounts beneath the bed, and the ball flips over to stow in the same hole it tows from. The Companion fifth wheel hitch came next and uses the same under-bed mounting.
B&W still builds its hitches in Humboldt, Kansas, from American-made steel, and Joe Works began handing the company to its workers in 2007; today it is employee-owned. B&W counts itself among the few hitch makers still building in America.

No. B&W says the lube disc is up to you; automotive chassis grease on the top plate works too.
Why won't the jaws open when I pull the handle?
On uneven ground the king pin can bind slightly in the jaws, which B&W calls normal. With the handle open the jaw tension is released, and the jaws let go as you pull away.
How do I find my truck's towing rating?
B&W suggests your owner's manual first, then your truck dealer or the truck maker's website. Know it before you tow, and stay under the lower of your truck's and your hitch's ratings.

Thankful we figured that out.
We owned a pickup with a B&W hideaway ball and the Companion fifth wheel hitch that went with it. We traded that truck off and the new one had a puck system that wouldn't work with the B&W Companion we had. So we thought we were going to have to purchase a whole new fifth wheel hitch. But we found we could just buy the stand part and the top works perfectly with it. Saved us a lot of money.

Regarding does not fit 2024 Ford Super Duty it does
I have a new 2024 F350 and thought there was a problem with the hitch. I called B & W and found out that it is a problem with the 2024. But there is a simple fix and all it it requires is a shim or 2 to make it work. They offered to send me the shims free of charge. They also told me that Ford has been notified of their problem.
