Features
- Height Adjusts on Two Pins: Pull the two adjustment pins, slide the ball head up or down until the trailer sits level, and pin it again. No tools are needed, and turning the hitch upside down in the receiver gives you rise instead of drop.
- Rotate to the Ball You Need: A single pin holds the swing arm. Pull it, turn the ball that matches your coupler into the towing spot and pin it back, so one hitch serves trailers with different coupler sizes.
- Rated Per Ball, Not Per Hitch: B&W rates each ball separately, and the largest ball carries the highest numbers. The ball in the towing position sets your limit, so check its rating in the specs below, along with your truck's own ratings.
- Stows Behind the Bumper: Not towing? Rotate the head up under the bumper and pin it. The hitch stays on the truck, clear of your shins and the garage door, ready for the next trailer.
- Locked-In Swing Arm: With the shank locked into most receivers, the adjustable arm can't be pulled off, and a slide pin holds the arm and its balls on even when the other pins are pulled. If your receiver leaves room to remove the arm, B&W offers an anti-theft plate through customer service.
- Tested to SAE J-684, USA-Made: B&W puts every Tow & Stow through strength and endurance testing under SAE J-684, the standard that covers bumper-pull hitches, and builds it in Humboldt, Kansas, from American-made steel.
Description & Fitment
TS10047C is B&W's tri-ball Tow & Stow adjustable ball mount for a 2" receiver, with 3" of drop and a chrome finish. Its rotating head carries 2-5/16", 2" and 1-7/8" balls. Towing on the 2-5/16" ball, its rating is 10,000 lb gross towing weight and 1,000 lb of tongue weight, falling to 7,500 lb behind the 2" ball and 3,500 lb behind the 1-7/8" ball. B&W names the 3" drop as the right Tow & Stow for most vehicles.
Fitment & Compatibility
Check your fit: a 2" square receiver. Pull out any reducer sleeve before you measure the opening. Choose a setting where the trailer rides level and the lowest point of the hitch stays 11" or more off the ground, B&W's recommended minimum. B&W suggests a hitch lock to secure the shank (its stainless receiver lock is TS51230).
Not for: a receiver other than 2": B&W builds this hitch for other receivers too, for example TS20048B (2.5") and TS30048B (3"); GM trucks with the MultiPro or MultiFlex tailgate, where B&W says a standard Tow & Stow can contact the lowered step (its MultiPro/MultiFlex models for this receiver are TS10063BMP, TS10064BMP, TS10065BMP, TS10066BMP); sway-bar or weight-distribution systems, which B&W says can't attach with a Tow & Stow; a different drop, finish or ball set at this receiver size: TS10048C (5" drop), TS10049C (7" drop), TS10047B (black), TS10047BB (Browning), TS10033C (2-5/16" and 2").

Which receiver does TS10047C fit?
A 2" square receiver. Measure the opening with any reducer sleeve taken out: B&W says a sleeve cuts the tow rating and makes the hitch noisier.
Will it clear a GM MultiPro or MultiFlex tailgate?
No. B&W says the lowered inner step on those tailgates can contact a standard Tow & Stow. Its MultiPro/MultiFlex Tow & Stow models (TS10063BMP, TS10064BMP, TS10065BMP, TS10066BMP) have machined cutouts for that clearance.
Can I run a sway bar or weight distribution with it?
No. B&W says those systems connect to the receiver with their own attachment pieces, and those pieces don't work with the Tow & Stow.
How do I keep the pins from seizing?
Pull the pins from time to time, wipe them clean and give them a thin coat of white lithium grease. B&W notes that steel parts touching each other outdoors will corrode eventually, so treat it as regular upkeep.
Which of the two shank holes should I pin?
Receiver pin holes sit in different places from one make to the next, which is why B&W drilled two. Use the hole that puts the shank deepest into the receiver: B&W says that is stronger and makes the hitch harder to steal.
What if I lose a pin?
Use only B&W pins. Replacement stainless pins with clips are sold on their own: TS35010 fits 2" and 2.5" shank models and TS35011 fits 3" shank models.

Here's the short version. Follow B&W's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- Remove any reducer sleeve from the receiver, measure the opening and use the Tow & Stow whose shank matches the receiver (2", 2-1/2" or 3").
- Pick a drop that lets the trailer tow as level as possible while keeping at least 11" between the ground and the lowest part of the hitch.
- To change balls, pull the single swing-arm pin, rotate the ball you need into position and put the pin back.
- If you need more rise, turn the Tow & Stow upside down in the receiver (inverted position).
- Hook the safety chains to the vehicle, not to the ball mount, and check that the coupler matches the ball size and is locked on the ball.
- When not towing, rotate the hitch under the vehicle and lock the pins to stow it.

Versatile Hitch
My business has to be able to switch between trailers that have different ball sizes regularly. This allow for it to be fast and easy. The trailers are of different heights, so being able to change the height on a moments notice is great. With this one hitch, we no longer have to carry multiple hitches with us. This hitch would be to much if you do not have multiple different style of trailers, but if you do, this is perfect for the job.

Too much noise
There are too many points in the system for it to make noise. I bought one of those hitch silencer things and it helped but still made noise. So tried to return it and it was out of the return window, lucky me. I tried putting some Teflon tape on the three pins that adjust the hitch and that seemed to have helped as well. I am contempt with the hitch now but it couldn’t of been designed much better.

Tow and Stow Magnum Double-Ball
I've had the Tow and Stow Magnum Double-Ball for a about 1 1/2 years. I do really like it's functionality in that it has the 2 hitch ball sizes I use the most, I can adjust the height up and down to level the trailer, and stow it under the truck so you're not hitting your knee or shin. If this review was at the 1 year mark, I would have probably given it 5 stars, but my recent experience caused that ranking to drop. After not using it for several months, plus going through a turkey season on a lot of dusty and/or muddy roads, I went to unfold it to hook up to an ATV trailer. Boy, was I in for a surprise! I needed a small hammer just to get the 3 pins out that hold it in the folded position. Then, when I went to rotate the 2" ball up, it didn't even move! I sprayed it with some WD-40 and hit it a little bit with the hammer I had on hand, but I didn't want to put flat spots on the ball…

We went to purchase a new trailer, and the jack was broke. I was able to use the adjustability to get the trailer tongue high enough we were able to remove the jack leg. I didn't have to remove the hitch from the truck. We borrow a lot of trailers, this was the easiest way to be able to haul all of them without need several set ups.

Heavy Duty and good looking. Just what I needed.
Very well made and heavy duty hitch. Perfect for what I need. I have to tow my boat to the lake and then hook up and move my travel trailer I keep in storage near the water. Before I had to carry both and switch them out. Now I just pull the clip, remove the pin, swing the ball around and I'm ready to go. It's also nice to be able to move the height up higher when I hook on to the travel trailer or if hauling my dad's bass boat I can keep it perfectly level with an adjustment since my Hurricane Fundeck weighs much more at the toungue. Truly the last and only hitch you will ever need. My only complaint is that it started to show just a small amount of rust spots (mostly on the receiver insert and locking pins) after a month on my truck and used a couple of times. I took it off and scrubbed it down with WD-40 and some light sandpaper in spots. Put it back in the box. That way it will…

Great hitch, easy to use and easy to stow if you don’t mind paying a little extra. The drop is overkill for 3/4 ton with a stock suspension, but doesn’t hurt to have. The only thing missing is a 1 7/8” ball for my wood splitter.
