- Built for MultiPro Tailgates: Lower the inner step on a GM MultiPro or MultiFlex tailgate and it can strike a standard Tow & Stow. This version has machined cutouts in its vertical adjustment block, so with the hitch stowed you can drop the step without denting the gate.
- Rated Per Ball, Not Per Hitch: Every ball carries its own B&W rating, and the 2-5/16" ball carries the highest rating of the set. The ball turned into the towing spot sets your limit, so read its numbers in the specs below and stay under your truck's ratings as well.
- Rotate to the Ball You Need: One pin holds the swing arm. Pull it, swing the ball that matches your trailer's coupler into place and pin it back, so a single hitch covers trailers with different coupler sizes.
- Height Adjusts on Two Pins: Two quick-pull stainless pins set the height. Pull them, slide the head until the trailer rides level and re-pin. Need rise instead of drop? Turn the hitch upside down in the receiver.
- Stows Out of the Tailgate's Way: When the trailer is off, rotate the head up and pin it behind the bumper. It stays clear of your shins and garage door, and the cutouts keep it clear of the lowered tailgate step.
- Tested to SAE J-684, USA-Made: B&W tests every Tow & Stow for strength and endurance under SAE J-684, which governs bumper-pull hitches, and builds it in Humboldt, Kansas, from American-made steel.
Description & Fitment
With 4.5" of drop on a 2" shank, TS10065BMP suits a truck that sits higher than the trailer. This black MultiPro | MultiFlex Tow & Stow rotates between a 2-5/16" ball, good for 10,000 lb GTW / 1,000 lb VTW, and a 2" ball, good for 7,500 lb GTW / 750 lb VTW.
Fitment & Compatibility
Check your fit: a 2" square receiver, measured with any reducer sleeve removed,. B&W designed it for trucks with GM's MultiPro or MultiFlex tailgate. Set it so the trailer rides level and the hitch's lowest point stays 11" or more off the ground.
Not for: a receiver other than 2" (B&W's 2.5" MultiPro models are TS20066BMP and TS20067BMP); a different drop or ball set at this size: TS10063BMP (2.5" drop, dual-ball), TS10064BMP (2.5" drop, tri-ball) and TS10066BMP (4.5" drop, tri-ball); sway-bar or weight-distribution systems.

What is TS10065BMP rated for?
By ball: 2-5/16" 10,000 lb GTW and 1,000 lb VTW; 2" 7,500 lb GTW and 750 lb VTW. The ball in the towing position sets the limit.
Will it clear my tailgate step?
Yes, when stowed. B&W machines cutouts into the vertical adjustment block of its MultiPro | MultiFlex models so the lowered inner step has room.
Why not a standard Tow & Stow on my MultiPro tailgate?
B&W says a standard Tow & Stow is not compatible with these tailgates: the lowered inner step can strike it. The cutouts on this model give the step room.
Which drop should I choose?
B&W wants the trailer as level as you can get it with at least 11" between the ground and the hitch's lowest point. Lifted trucks and big tires usually need more drop.
How do I keep the pins from seizing?
Pull the pins now and then, wipe them clean and coat them with white lithium grease. Steel parts touching each other outdoors will eventually corrode, B&W notes, so this is regular upkeep.
Can I run a sway bar or weight distribution with it?
No. Those systems attach to the receiver with their own pieces, and B&W says those pieces do not work with the Tow & Stow.

Here's the short version. Follow B&W's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- Remove any reducer sleeve from the receiver, measure the opening and use the Tow & Stow whose shank matches the receiver (2", 2-1/2" or 3").
- Pick a drop that lets the trailer tow as level as possible while keeping at least 11" between the ground and the lowest part of the hitch.
- To change balls, pull the single swing-arm pin, rotate the ball you need into position and put the pin back.
- If you need more rise, turn the Tow & Stow upside down in the receiver (inverted position).
- Hook the safety chains to the vehicle, not to the ball mount, and check that the coupler matches the ball size and is locked on the ball.
- When not towing, rotate the hitch under the vehicle and lock the pins to stow it.

Inspect on delivery
Before the first hookup, make sure all three stainless pins and their clips are in place, each ball is tight on the swing arm, and the stowed hitch clears the tailgate step when you lower it. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.

Great design hitch and ball.
Great design hitch and ball. I have the multi fold rear tailgate and the instructions say do not leave on when using the multi fold gate and step. However I should add , that I slowly tested the operation of the tailgate when it was attached and I had all the clearance I needed without the tailgate and step hitting it. So great design!!!
