Features

  • Cast-Iron Construction: The FR4400 shares Fill-Rite's cast-iron H-Series pump body with a powdered iron rotor and sintered bronze vanes, built for moving larger volumes of fuel from a mobile tank.
  • 20 GPM High Flow on 24V: Fill-Rite rates the FR4400 line at up to 20 GPM (75 LPM) from a 24V DC supply, a step up from the 15 GPM FR2400, with a 1" outlet instead of 3/4".
  • Fits 2" Tank Bungs: The inlet flange threads onto a 2" tank bung and takes a 1" suction pipe. US models use NPT threads; the HE export pump uses a 2" BSPT bung adapter with BSPP ports.
  • Lockable Nozzle Hook: Next to the switch lever there is a locking link: switch the pump off, rest the nozzle in its boot, and a padlock through the link and the nozzle handle stops unauthorized fueling.
  • 30-Minute Duty Cycle: The 1/4 HP motor is thermally protected and rated for 30 minutes on, then 30 minutes off. Fill-Rite lists a 13 A rated draw and asks for a 20 A fuse in the 24V circuit.
  • Many Fluids, One Pump: Fill-Rite approves the FR4400 for diesel, gasoline and blends up to E15, biodiesel up to B20, kerosene and mineral spirits.

Description & Fitment

Fill-Rite's FR4410H is the ready-to-run 20 GPM (75 LPM) kit on 24V DC: the cast-iron FR4400 pump with a 1" x 12' hose, a 1" manual nozzle, a telescoping steel suction pipe from 20" to 34-1/2", an 18' 12 AWG two-wire cable and a 5' ground wire. It bolts to a 2" NPT tank bung and pulls 13 A from its 1/4 HP motor.

Fitment & Compatibility

Check your setup: a 24V DC supply with a 20 A fuse and a 2" NPT bung. The bare pump is the FR4406H; at 15 GPM the 24V kit is the FR2410H, or the FR2411H with a meter.

Not for: DEF, water or any fluid meant for drinking or food, and fueling aircraft (Fill-Rite's manual rules these out). No meter is included.

About Fill-Rite

FILL-RITE.

Fill-Rite is a Gorman-Rupp company that designs and builds transfer equipment for fuel, oil and chemicals: electric and hand-operated transfer pumps, plus the meters, nozzles, hose and filters that go with them. Its sites are in Fort Wayne, Indiana and Lenexa, Kansas.

Its transfer pumps are built around cast-iron rotary vane bodies, and Fill-Rite stands behind them with a tiered warranty that runs for the life of the pump castings, 5 years on the motor and 2 years on wear parts.

Buying Fill-Rite from Prestige Truck. Fill-Rite asks for proof of purchase with any warranty claim, so keep your Prestige Truck order receipt with your records.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the FR4410H include a meter?

No. It includes hose, manual nozzle, suction pipe and cable. Fill-Rite's metered 24V kits are in the 15 GPM FR2411 range.

What size hose and nozzle come with it?

A 1" x 12' hose and a 1" manual nozzle, sized for the FR4400's 1" outlet.

What power does it need?

A 24V DC supply. Fill-Rite requires a fuse in the circuit, 20 A for 24V, and its manual has the wiring run done by a licensed electrician. Do not wire it to thin vehicle circuits such as a lighter socket.

How is it different from the FR2400?

Both run on 24V DC. Fill-Rite rates the FR4400 at up to 20 GPM with a 1" outlet and 13 A rated draw; the FR2400 is the 15 GPM version with a 3/4" outlet.

What tank does it fit?

Any tank with a 2" bung (NPT on US models, BSPT on the HE pump-only versions). The tank needs a vent cap, and the suction pipe should stop 1-2" above the bottom unless it is the telescoping steel pipe.

Can I lock it?

Yes. With the pump off and the nozzle in its boot, a padlock fits through the locking link beside the switch lever and the nozzle handle.

Installation

Install time Not printed in Fill-Rite's manual
DifficultyNot printed in Fill-Rite's manualFill-Rite has the wiring done by a licensed electrician
TypeBolts to a 2" tank bung through the supplied inlet flange, then wired to a fused 24V DC supply (Fill-Rite H-Series manual)
Tools7/16" wrench or socket, pipe wrench, T-25 Torx driver, fuel-rated thread sealant

Here's the short version. Follow Fill-Rite's manual (below) for the full procedure, wiring and safety steps.

  1. Optional: take the inlet flange off the pump by loosening its four 1/4" bolts with a 7/16" wrench; keep the bolts, screen and gasket.
  2. Thread the suction pipe into the inlet bung 1.5 to 2.5 turns past hand tight with a pipe wrench, using a sealant made for fuel.
  3. Thread the bung and pipe onto the tank 1.5 to 2.5 turns past hand tight, again with fuel-rated sealant.
  4. If you removed the flange, seat the screen and gasket, set the pump on the bung and tighten the four bolts to at least 40 in-lbs.
  5. Open the junction box (two T-25 screws), feed the power leads through the 1/2" NPT opening with the black cable connector, and keep the gasket in place when you close it.
  6. Mount the nozzle boot to the switch plate with its 5/16" bolt at 40 in-lbs; it has two positions. Wire to a 24V supply with a 20 A fuse.

Warranty, shipping & returns

  • Lifetime Tiered limited warranty

Fill-Rite covers the FR4400 Series pump with its tiered Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in material and workmanship:
    • Lifetime: pump castings, such as the pump and motor housings, motor frame, inlet flange and bung adapter, junction box cover, switch plate and end bells. Paint and corrosion issues are excluded.
    • 5 years: the motor and its components, such as magnets, armature, brushes, thermal protector, lead wires and circuit boards.
    • 2 years: wear parts, such as seals, gaskets, O-rings, springs, vanes, rotor and rotor cover, bypass cap, nozzle boot, switch parts and paint adhesion. Paint wear from use, weather or chemicals is excluded.
    • 1 year: accessories packed with the pump, such as hoses, nozzles, suction pipes, cables and connectors, elbows and swivels.
    • Coverage runs from the date of sale, or the delivery date if that is later, and only the original purchaser is covered; it does not transfer to a later owner.
    • It applies to products bought from Fill-Rite or a seller Fill-Rite authorizes in the United States or Canada, and Fill-Rite needs proof of purchase with a claim. Without proof of purchase or delivery, Fill-Rite starts the clock at the date code on the product.
    • Small items such as fasteners, washers, labels, nameplates, rivets, emblems, packaging, thread tape, wire nuts and paperwork are not covered.
    • It does not cover misuse, neglect, accident, negligence, improper installation or maintenance, or repairs done by anyone other than Fill-Rite or its authorized representative.
    • Fill-Rite's remedy is a replacement, or a refund of the price paid when a replacement or repair is not practical. Its liability is capped at the purchase price and it excludes incidental and consequential damages where the law allows. Implied warranties are limited to the length of this warranty.
    • Please do not send the product back on your own: if Fill-Rite asks for a return, it issues a return number and pays the freight.
To start a claim, contact us with your order number and a short description of the problem and we will take it to Fill-Rite with you.
