Features
Solid-core aluminum skinned panels
Each panel wraps a solid core in aircraft-grade aluminum and rides on a rigid alloy frame, which keeps weight down while adding stiffness. Spread evenly, the cover is rated for up to 300 lbs.
Drive with the bed fully open
Integrated prop rods hold the folded cover upright against the cab, so you can drive with nothing over the bed. Buckle straps also secure it at the two-thirds open point.
Every panel latches shut
Automatic slam latches lock the cover when you lower it, and the brand's own rail and clamp system holds it to the truck. Two pull latches just inside the tailgate release it.
EPDM seals and rounded hinges
Tight-fitting EPDM rubber seals line the sides and the hinges are rounded to shed water and debris, with drain tubes carrying runoff out of the rails.
Powder coat that holds up
A corrosion-resistant semi-gloss black powder coat is made to resist fading and flaking, and the low profile sits even with the bed rails.

Installation

The side rails clamp to the bed rails, the cover is unfolded onto them and centered, and the buckle ends are fitted to the front panel. Use the install sheet written for your truck, since clamp count, seals and drain tube routing differ between platforms.
Notes from the install sheet for this truck
- Tundra FX sheet covers trucks with AND without the deck rail (cargo management) system: with it, T-nut kits slide into the accessory rail; without it, three standard clamps per side (10 ft-lb).
- Drain tubes: drill a 5/8" hole through the rubber bulkhead plug (older trucks) or enlarge the existing floor hole (newer trucks).

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. Gator backs this cover with a limited 2-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship. Coverage is for the first owner only, and proof of purchase or warranty registration may be required. The warranty stays valid only when the cover is cared for as directed: wash with mild automotive soap and water, keep it secured at every point while driving, recheck the clamps after the first week of use, clear snow and ice before opening, and remove the cover before the truck is towed from the rear. Shipping. Tonneau covers ship boxed by ground carrier; the carrier and ship method are set by the carton size and weight when the order is placed. Inspect on delivery. Please inspect the carton and the cover when it arrives, and note any shipping damage with the carrier before you sign or install.
