Go Rhino Dominator D1 Side Steps: Orange Toyota Tacoma double cab with black side steps along the cab, front three-quarter view

Rugged steps for trail builds

Dominator D1 side steps pair a tubular steel frame with plate-steel tread for a tough look that suits off-road and overland builds. The cab-length step makes climbing into a tall vehicle or SUV easy for every passenger.

Go Rhino Dominator D1 Side Steps: Black tube side step with perforated step plate installed under a red vehicle between large off-road tires

Grip where boots land

The 5.5" wide tread is dimpled with a raised hexagonal pattern, so boots stay put in rain, mud and snow. The full-width surface gives room to step anywhere along the cab.

Steel that guards the rockers

All-steel construction in a textured black powder coat stands between the rocker panels and rocks thrown by the tires. The finish is made to resist chips, scratches and corrosion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

How do I find the right part number?

Each listing is made for specific vehicles and cabs, and the fit table lists them with any exclusions, such as diesel-engine versions of certain vehicles. Match your vehicle, cab and any noted equipment before ordering.

Will these protect my rocker panels?

They help. The all-steel steps sit along the rockers and block rocks and debris kicked up by the tires. They are side steps, not dedicated rock sliders.

Is drilling required?

Most applications bolt to existing holes in the rocker panel. Some vehicles need small holes drilled or enlarged where factory holes are missing, and the guide for your part number says when.

How grippy is the step?

The plate-steel tread is dimpled with a raised hexagonal pattern across a 5.5" wide surface, made to give a secure footing in wet or muddy conditions.

How should I look after the finish?

Wash with gentle soap and water, dry the steps after washing and skip abrasive cleaners or polishing compounds. A non-abrasive wax such as pure carnauba helps, and check the bolts every six months.

What warranty do they have?

A limited lifetime structural warranty and a 5-year finish warranty for the original owner. Warranty returns need an RGA number from Go Rhino.
