Fits the same truck
Built to step on and slide
The Dominator D6 is a running board and a slider in one. It sits tight to the body, gives you a 6" step into the cab, and takes the rock strikes and scrapes that would otherwise land on the rocker area.
Grip on a raised hex pad
The plate steel step pad carries a raised hex pattern, and the textured black powder coat adds slip resistance on top. Wet or muddy boots still get firm footing.
Tubular steel in textured black
A tubular carbon steel frame carries the step pad, and the whole board is finished in textured black powder coat for corrosion resistance. Go Rhino covers the structure for the life of the product and the finish for 5 years.
Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
How do I know the Dominator D6 fits my vehicle?
Each listing names the vehicles, years and cab or door configurations it fits, and the bracket kit is made for them. Check the fit table and its notes, such as gas-engine-only or trim exclusions, before you order.
Do I have to drill to install Dominator D6 boards?
Most rocker-mount D6 kits bolt on with no drilling. Frame-mount kits require drilling, and a few rocker-mount applications ask for existing holes to be enlarged. The guide for your part number says exactly what is needed.
What is the difference between rocker mount and frame mount?
Rocker-mount kits attach the brackets to the body along the rocker panel. Frame-mount kits, offered on select applications, tie the brackets to the frame and call for drilling. The listing title and the guide for your part number say which mount it uses.
Do the boards and the 4" drop steps come together?
No. They are separate Go Rhino parts. Dominator D6 board kits do not include drop steps, and the 4" drop step pair (D6410000T) does not include boards: the drop steps bolt to D6 boards already on the vehicle and do not fit models with lower rocker panel extensions.
How do I care for the textured black finish?
Go Rhino recommends washing regularly with car wash soap and rinsing well, avoiding abrasive cleaners and polishing compounds, and using only a non-abrasive automotive wax such as pure carnauba. Wash often in winter if your roads are salted.
What warranty comes with the Dominator D6?
Go Rhino's Limited Lifetime Structural Warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product when it is installed per the instructions, and the Limited 5-Year Finish Warranty covers the original owner against red rust, peeling, flaking or cracking for five years from purchase.
