This 2.5 EXP Series coilover from ICON Vehicle Dynamics is built for the 2022-2026 Toyota Sequoia and Tundra and reuses its factory coil spring. A qualified shock technician can rebuild or re-valve the shock later, with parts available from ICON, if the vehicle's use changes. This listing covers part number 58671.
What's Included:
- ICON 2.5 EXP Series coilover shock with its upper mount and spring seat, built to reuse the factory coil spring
- Any other parts listed for this vehicle in the Kit contents table
The factory coil spring is reused and is not included. Parts named under Also required, such as sway bar brackets, upper control arms or rear shocks, are sold separately, as are wheels, tires and accessories seen in photos.
Features
Reuses the Factory Spring
EXP keeps the vehicle's OE coil spring, so the lift and the tuned 2.5" shock come without the cost of new springs.
Snap-Ring Ride Height
Grooves machined into the shock body take a snap ring that sets the spring seat, giving easily selectable ride height within the listed range.
2.5 Aluminum Series Body
The shock is built on ICON's 2.5 Aluminum Series with an internal reservoir and a hard-anodized aluminum body for corrosion resistance and a consistent finish.
7/8" Shaft, Mounted Shaft-Up
An induction-hardened, chrome-plated 7/8" shaft is used in the factory shaft-up orientation, with PTFE-lined bearings for low deflection.
Tuned With the Stock Spring
ICON tunes the valving for each vehicle together with its stock coil spring, and the larger body carries more oil for steadier damping on long rough runs.
Rebuildable and Re-Valvable
Any qualified shock technician can rebuild or re-valve an EXP shock, with parts available from ICON.

Installation
Type: Coilover shock using the factory spring · Install: Professional shop recommended · Afterward: Alignment, plus ADAS recalibration on late-model vehicles
On this vehicle the EXP coilover replaces the factory shock and carries the factory coil spring. Where ICON publishes instructions for this part, they are summarized and linked below. Compressing a coil spring is hazardous work that needs a proper spring compressor, which is one reason ICON recommends a professional installer.
ICON guide for part 58671:
Tools named in the guide: Hammer, Torque wrench, Coil spring compressor, 10mm socket/wrench, 14mm socket/wrench, 18mm socket/wrench, 19mm socket/wrench, 21mm socket/wrench, 22mm socket/wrench and 24mm socket/wrench
Modification: the guide includes cutting, drilling or grinding steps; read them before you start
Afterward: the guide calls for a wheel alignment

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. ICON shock absorbers, coilovers included, carry a 1-year warranty against manufacturer's defects. A shock that fails in its first year goes back to ICON for inspection and service, and if ICON finds the failure came from neglect, improper installation or anything other than normal wear, the owner pays the service costs. Coverage is for the original retail purchaser who owns the vehicle the parts were first installed on, and ICON repairs or replaces a defective part at its discretion. Finish, parts worn through normal use, modifications, installation contrary to ICON's instructions, racing use, police, taxi, government or commercial vehicles, and sales outside the US and Canada are excluded. Removal, installation and freight costs are not covered. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the cartons when the order is placed. Inspect on delivery. Open every carton when it arrives and check each part and hardware bag against the parts list before the install starts. Note any visible carton damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it, because damage reported later is much harder to claim.
Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, return shipping is on us. See our Returns & Refunds Policy, or email support@prestigetruck.com with any question.
About ICON Vehicle Dynamics
ICON Vehicle Dynamics designs and builds performance suspension for vehicles and SUVs in Riverside, California, and has been developing its systems since 2008. Engineering is led by head engineer and SCORE champion driver Dylan Evans, and the laser cutting, metal forming, CNC machining, welding and assembly are all done in house.
ICON's engineers start from the result they want a vehicle to have, study the forces acting on it in motion, and then develop and test parts both in everyday driving and in race conditions. EXP was developed to bridge the gap between spacer lifts and threaded-body coilovers, and it is built on the same 2.5 Aluminum Series shock ICON uses across its suspension systems.
