This ICON V.S. 2.5 Series coilover kit is built for the 2008-2021 Toyota Land Cruiser, with vehicle-specific valving and ride height you set by adjusting spring preload. The 2.5" shock body has more piston area than the factory damper, which gives firmer control over bumps and body motion across mixed terrain. This listing covers 2.5 Series coilover part numbers 58660, 58760 and 58760C.
Choosing your option:
-
Build, Internal Reservoir: the nitrogen charge and oil are held inside the shock body, the most compact layout, with no separate reservoir to mount.
-
Build, Remote Reservoir: a separate reservoir on a hose adds oil volume and cooling surface, so damping stays consistent longer under hard use. It mounts near the shock with application-specific hardware.
-
Build, CDCV: ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve adds an external knob with 10 compression settings, from soft to firm.
What's Included:
- The ICON 2.5 Series coilover assemblies for the position shown, each with its ICON coil spring fitted
- The reservoirs, mounts and hardware listed for your part in the Kit contents table
Some applications need other parts, such as ICON upper control arms above a set lift height, a differential drop, longer CV axles, or an IIC module for CDEV coilovers. Those are sold separately and listed in the notes for your vehicle. Wheels and tires shown in photos are not included.
Features
Height You Can Adjust
A threaded spring perch lets the ride height be set within the range ICON lists for the vehicle, so you can level the stance or make room for larger tires. ICON sets each coilover at its recommended height before it ships.
A Larger 2.5" Shock Body
The 2.5" body and its larger piston area than stock components improve damping and ride quality on everything from pavement to washboard and rock.
Valved for the Vehicle
ICON tunes the shock length and valving for each application, giving a sport-tuned feel on the road with the control to handle rough ground off road.
ICON Engineered Springs
Each assembly carries a coil spring engineered by ICON for the vehicle, with firmer 700 lb/in or heavy-rate springs on many applications for vehicles that carry extra weight.
Reservoirs and Adjusters
Remote reservoir versions keep operating temperatures lower during extended off-road use, and CDCV, CDXS or CDEV valves add compression adjustment on the applications that offer them.
Built to Be Rebuilt
The coilovers are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, so the same assemblies can be serviced or revalved over a long working life.

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. ICON warrants its shock absorbers, including the shock in each coilover, for 1 year against manufacturer's defects. A shock that fails in its first year of ownership must be shipped to ICON Vehicle Dynamics for inspection and service, and if ICON finds the failure came from neglect, improper installation or anything other than normal wear and tear, the owner pays the service costs, including labor, parts and shipping. Coverage is for the original retail purchaser who owns the vehicle the part was first installed on, and ICON repairs or replaces a defective part at its discretion. Finish, alterations, installation contrary to ICON's instructions, racing use, police, taxi, government or commercial vehicles, and sales outside the United States and Canada are not covered, and neither are removal, installation or freight costs. The shocks leave ICON charged with nitrogen: releasing that pressure can make a shock malfunction, and a failure caused by low nitrogen pressure is not covered. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the cartons when the order is placed. Larger orders can arrive in more than one carton. Inspect on delivery. Open every carton when it arrives and check each shock, reservoir and hardware bag against the parts list in the ICON guide before you start. Note any visible carton damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it, because damage reported later is much harder to claim. ICON notes that some finish damage can happen in shipping and is not covered by its warranty.
Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, return shipping is on us. See our Returns & Refunds Policy, or email support@prestigetruck.com with any question.
About ICON Vehicle Dynamics
ICON Vehicle Dynamics is a performance suspension manufacturer in Riverside, California, building aftermarket suspension components and shock absorbers for vehicles and SUVs since 2008. Its engineering is led by head engineer and SCORE champion driver Dylan Evans, and the team starts each project by defining how the finished vehicle should drive, then studies the forces acting on it in motion to decide what to change. Laser cutting, metal forming, CNC machining, welding and assembly all happen in house, and products are tested in real-world use as well as race conditions.
The V.S. 2.5 Series coilover is the front-end building block of many ICON suspension systems, and it is also sold on its own for owners who want adjustable height and better damping without a full lift kit. ICON designs its 2.0 Aluminum Series and 2.5 Series rear shocks to pair with these coilovers so the vehicle is balanced front to rear.
