These ICON V.S. 2.5 Series shocks are built to the length and damping tune of the 2017-2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty, for control on the street and composure off road. Lift heights are rated for a stock-equipped vehicle, so a heavy bumper or winch can shift where the vehicle sits within the listed range. This listing covers 2.5 Series part numbers 67810EP and 67820EP.
Choosing your option:
-
Lift, 4.5": Sized for a vehicle with 4.5" of lift over stock, such as an ICON 4.5" lift. ICON rates lift heights for a stock-equipped vehicle.
-
Lift, 7": Sized for a vehicle with 7" of lift over stock, such as an ICON 7" lift.
What's Included:
- The ICON 2.5 Series shocks named for your part: a pair on most parts, or a single shock where the part names one side
- On Shock System parts, the ICON upper control arms named in the option (tubular or billet)
- The reservoir mounts, bushings and hardware listed for your part in the Kit contents table
Lift springs, spacers and any parts ICON lists as required for your vehicle, such as a brake line relocation kit, extended sway bar links or an IIC module for CDEV shocks, are sold separately. Check the notes for your vehicle.
Features
Tuned for Each Application
ICON configures every 2.5 Series shock for its vehicle in both length and damping tune, with a one-piece digressive piston and premium 5WT shock oil for consistent damping across a wide temperature range.
Bump Zone Near Full Compression
On piggyback and specific remote reservoir applications, a 6061 billet manifold under the top cap forms an internal Bump Zone that adds about 20% more damping force, helping prevent harsh bottom outs during fast compression.
Choose Your Reservoir Style
Internal reservoir shocks keep everything in one body. Piggyback shocks carry a reservoir on the shock itself, and remote reservoir shocks move it onto a hose, both adding oil volume and heat dissipation to reduce fade during prolonged use.
Adjustable Compression Damping Options
CDCV adds a 10-position compression knob, CDXS gives separate high-speed and low-speed compression knobs with 10 detented settings each, and CDEV adjusts compression electronically through ICON Intelligent Control. ICON says a 2.5 Series shock with a piggyback or remote reservoir can take a CDCV upgrade later.
Stout Shaft and Bearings
The 2.5 Series pairs a 7/8" induction-hardened, chrome-plated shaft with PTFE-lined spherical bearings, application-specific mounting hardware and CNC machined 6061 aluminum components.
Rebuildable and Revalveable
Every ICON shock is fully serviceable, so a 2.5 Series shock can be rebuilt when worn or revalved if your vehicle's weight or use changes.

Installation
Type: Shock replacement, most parts sold as a pair · Install: Professional installer recommended by ICON · Afterward: Retorque the hardware after the first 100 miles
The ICON guide for this vehicle lists the tools, reservoir mounting, any drilling and any extra parts the install needs, and whether an alignment follows. Take care when the axle hangs without shocks attached, because the brake lines can overstretch, and retorque all hardware after the first 100 miles.

Warranty, Shipping & Returns
Warranty. ICON warrants its shock absorbers for 1 year against manufacturer's defects. A shock that fails in its first year of ownership must be shipped to ICON Vehicle Dynamics for inspection and service, and if ICON finds the failure came from neglect, improper installation or anything other than normal wear and tear, the owner pays the service costs, including labor, parts and shipping. Coverage is for the original retail purchaser who owns the vehicle the part was first installed on, and ICON repairs or replaces a defective part at its discretion. Finish, alterations, installation contrary to ICON's instructions, racing use, police, taxi, government or commercial vehicles, and sales outside the United States and Canada are not covered, and neither are removal, installation or freight costs. The shocks leave ICON charged with nitrogen: releasing that pressure can make a shock malfunction, and a failure caused by low nitrogen pressure is not covered. Shipping. The carrier and ship method are set by the size and weight of the cartons when the order is placed. Larger orders can arrive in more than one carton. Inspect on delivery. Open every carton when it arrives and check each shock, reservoir and hardware bag against the parts list in the ICON guide before you start. Note any visible carton damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it, because damage reported later is much harder to claim. ICON notes that some finish damage can happen in shipping and is not covered by its warranty.
Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective or wrong, return shipping is on us. See our Returns & Refunds Policy, or email support@prestigetruck.com with any question.
About ICON Vehicle Dynamics
ICON Vehicle Dynamics is a performance suspension manufacturer in Riverside, California, building aftermarket suspension components and shock absorbers for vehicles and SUVs since 2008. Its engineering is led by head engineer and SCORE champion driver Dylan Evans, and the team starts each project by defining how the finished vehicle should drive, then studies the forces acting on it in motion to decide what to change. Laser cutting, metal forming, CNC machining, welding and assembly all happen in house, and products are tested in real-world use as well as race conditions.
The V.S. 2.5 Series sits between ICON's cost-effective 2.0 Series and its larger 3.0 Series, with the Omega Series bypass shocks offered for owners who want to tune rebound as well as compression. ICON builds the 2.5 Series for drivers who head off road hard enough that a 2.0 Series shock would be working at its limit.
