Choose the Stage that fits

ICON builds its suspension systems in stages for each vehicle, from an entry system that improves ride quality and sets the stance to higher stages that add upper control arms, adjustable valving, rear links or larger shocks. Every part is engineered for the platform it fits, so the stages work together as one system. Pick the stage that matches how and where the vehicle is driven.

Shocks tuned for each platform

Where a system includes ICON shocks, their valving is tuned for that vehicle, and they are fully serviceable, so they can be rebuilt or re-valved rather than replaced. Coilover systems adjust within the listed lift range, and every lift figure is measured on a stock-equipped vehicle. Heavier accessories such as bumpers or winches change where the height ends up.

Plan the install and alignment

ICON recommends a professional shop or service technician for the installation, and a professional alignment once the front suspension has changed. Many late-model vehicles also need their driver-assist cameras and sensors recalibrated. Some vehicles need an extra part, such as a differential drop or a skid plate spacer, and those are listed under Also required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Which stage should I choose?

Start from how the vehicle is used. Entry stages improve ride quality and set the stance for daily driving, towing and light trail use, while higher stages add parts such as upper control arms, adjustable valving and rear links for harder off-road driving. The Kit contents table shows what each stage adds on your vehicle.

What is the difference between CDCV, CDXS and CDEV?

CDCV is an external adjuster with 10 compression damping settings from soft to hard. CDXS adds separate adjustment of low speed and high speed compression. CDEV is an electronic valve that ICON Intelligent Control adjusts automatically from onboard sensors, and it runs through the ICON app, which needs an iOS device.

Will I need an alignment after installing?

Yes, whenever the system changes the front suspension. ICON's instructions call for a professional alignment after installation, and many late-model vehicles also need their driver-assist cameras and sensors recalibrated.

What tire size will fit after the lift?

ICON lists a recommended tire size for each system, shown in the Specifications with any trimming it takes. Wheel offset and backspacing matter too, so check the recommended wheel specification before buying wheels and tires.

Will it fit my trim or engine?

Some systems are specific to an engine, drivetrain or factory package, such as diesel-rated springs, 4WD-only kits, Bronco Sasquatch or HOSS packages, the F-150 Tremor or Raptor, and factory air ride or adaptive suspension. The listing's options and fitment notes name these, so check them against your vehicle before ordering.

What warranty comes with ICON suspension?

ICON shocks and coilovers carry a 1-year warranty against manufacturer's defects, and ICON's fabricated components carry its limited lifetime warranty. Both require the parts to be installed as the complete kit ICON specifies, and racing use is excluded.
