- Flush mount, 12mm profile: LEER mounts the HF650M flush with the bed rails and holds the profile to just 12 mm, so the closed cover follows the lines of the truck rather than sitting on top like a lid.
- Four panels, flexible access: The cover folds in four panels, a quad-fold layout, so you can open just the back section for a few bags or fold more of it toward the cab when the load is bulky. LEER describes the panels as lightweight.
- Dent-resistant panels: LEER builds the panels from a fiberglass-reinforced plastic polymer it rates as dent-resistant, and gives them a textured matte black finish that suits a work truck or a daily driver.
- CYNC latch, either side: Two fingers on the CYNC latch release the cover, and you can reach it from either side of the bed. LEER adds multiple latching positions, and the latch engages whether the tailgate is dropped or shut.
- No drain tubes needed: LEER's water management system handles runoff without drain tubes, so there are no tubes to fit during the install or to keep clear afterward. LEER also calls the panels weather-resistant.
- No-drill clamp-in fit: The split side rails clamp into the bed, so no holes are drilled. LEER packs 2 Allen wrenches with the cover for the job.
Description & Fitment
LEER's HF650M is a flush-mount, hard folding tonneau cover with a 12 mm low profile. Its four lightweight panels, made from dent-resistant, fiberglass-reinforced plastic polymer in textured matte black, fold back as far as the load needs. The CYNC latch opens with two fingers from either side, the water management system needs no drain tubes, and split rails clamp in without drilling. LEER makes a version for each truck and bed length, backed by its 3-year limited warranty.

Which trucks does the HF650M cover?
LEER builds HF650M versions for the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra (1500 and HD), Colorado and Canyon, Ford F-150 (including Raptor and Lightning beds), Super Duty, Ranger and Maverick, Ram 1500 and 2500 plus the older Dodge Ram 1500, Jeep Gladiator, Nissan Frontier, and Toyota Tacoma and Tundra. Each version page lists its exact years and bed.
How do I pick the right version?
Match your model year, truck and bed length to one version, then check its notes for bed rail systems such as Utili-track, the deck rail or the Gladiator's track, and for RamBox or tailgate notes.
Is the HF650M waterproof?
LEER calls the panels weather-resistant and says its water management system needs no drain tubes. The cover is not sold as waterproof, so wrap anything that has to stay completely dry.
Do I have to drill the bed rails to fit it?
No. The HF650M uses clamp-in split side rails with no drilling. It comes with the cover, the split left and right rails, clamps, tie-downs, a prop rod, a secondary tie-down and 2 Allen wrenches.
Can I latch the cover with the tailgate down?
Yes. LEER says the HF650M latches with the tailgate open or closed, and the CYNC latch has multiple latching positions.
Can I travel with the panels folded up?
Yes. LEER's manual says the tie-down straps must be fastened any time you ride with the cover folded open, and it asks you to check the clamps are tight before each trip.
Installation
Here's the short version. Follow LEER's install sheet (below) for the exact positions and hardware.
- Connect the split rails (left and right) and push them forward to the bulkhead.
- Install the clamps.
- Place the cover on the rails and install the tie-downs.
- Unfold and adjust the cover, then tighten the tie-downs.
- Install the prop rod.
- Install the secondary tie-down.

The HF650M carries LEER's 3-Year Limited Warranty: LEER promises the cover is free of material and workmanship defects, with coverage that runs 3 years as long as the original purchaser keeps it on the original truck.- Who and where: the original retail purchaser only, on the original owner's truck. The warranty is not transferable.
- Conditions: the cover must be properly installed and not modified, and LEER asks for the original sales receipt as proof of purchase.
- Remedy: LEER repairs or replaces a cover that proves defective, at its sole discretion.
- Not covered: damage caused by accidents, neglect or abuse, by inappropriate use or a faulty install, or by acts of God; a cover that comes off the truck while driving (checking the clamps before you drive is the owner's job); paint damage to the truck; damage from careless unpacking, such as opening the carton with a box cutter; a panel hinge bent past its stop, usually by hauling cargo taller than the bed sides with the cover closed; use outside the cover's specifications or intended application; installing or operating it against the manual; and consequential damage, including to cargo or the truck bed.
- Shipping damage: LEER excludes damage caused by a parcel carrier in transit, so tell us right away and we will file the claim with the carrier.
- Care: wash with mild soap and water only. LEER says chemicals and harsh fluids can damage the hinges and seals and void the warranty.
- Registration: LEER asks HF650M owners to register the cover. Contact us and we will help you register it.
- To start a claim, contact us with your order number and photos and we will take it up with LEER for you.

Inspect on delivery
Open the carton without a blade, then lay out the folded cover, both split rails, the clamps, tie-downs, prop rod and wrenches and match them to the parts labels in LEER's manual before you start. Check it as soon as it arrives.- Look for crushed ends, punctures or tears in the carton.
- If something looks wrong, take photos of the box and the parts (and if a driver asks you to sign, note the damage on the receipt).
- Open the box and check the parts against the parts list before you install.
