Fits the 2019-2026 Ram 2500 and 3500 Crew Cab and the 2019-2025 Ram 4500 and 5500 Crew Cab chassis trucks. N-Fab's sheet removes any factory running boards or steps, then fits rocker panel brackets at the factory attachment points with 3/8" bolts and M8 flanged hardware, with no drilling. Textured black, cab length.

How is a Growler board different from a tube step?

Instead of a round bar with step pads, the Growler Fleet is a flat 7" wide aluminum board with louvered tread along its whole length, so you can step anywhere on it.

Will it suit a lifted truck?

N-Fab pitches the Growler Fleet for factory-height and lifted pickups alike. The brackets are made for your cab, so check the fitment table for your exact truck.

Is there a matching hitch step?

Yes. N-Fab's Growler Hitch Step uses the same louvered tread on a 19" by 7" aluminum step that slides into a 2" receiver.

Do they come as a pair?

Yes. Each part number includes the driver-side and passenger-side boards, the brackets for that cab and the mounting hardware.

Installation

Here's the short version. Follow N-Fab's install sheet (below) for your vehicle's exact steps.

  1. Remove the factory parts. Beginning with the driver side, remove any factory running boards or steps and discard.
  2. Clear the mounts. Next, locate the mounting holes underneath the body and remove the factory tape from the three locations. Insert the supplied threaded U- clips in each mounting location. Note: Clip orientation will be the same for passenger side.
  3. Fit the brackets. Install the rocker panel mounting brackets to the factory attachment points using the provided 3/8" x 1" hex bolts and 3/8" flat washers for the upper mount and the M8x25mm flanged bolt and M8 flanged nut for the pinch weld mount. Leave loose for now. Note: Make sure the brackets are facing in the correct direction.
  4. Mount the brackets. Set running board along the top of all 3 brackets and center along the cab. Insert the supplied threaded bracket inside the running board lip over the top of each bracket.
  5. Continue. With the supplied 3/8" x 1" hex bolts, secure each mounting location and leave loose. After final adjustment, tighten all running board threaded mounts.
  6. Tighten the hardware. Next, tighten the lower pinch weld attachment points. Finish by tightening the upper mounts. Repeat the steps above for passenger side.

Love the look and feel of these

These are just what I have been looking for. Had nerf bars for years and issue was always grip and slip, especially in wet and freezing conditions. And others weren't lying, easiest install possible. 12 nuts, 12 bolts, and you're done. Could easily install in under an hour if you have the right tools ready.

SIMPLE AS IT GETS!

Easy 1/2 hour project to install in driveway, literally a 13mm socket is all you need. Good solid running boards, My second set.
