The Growler Fleet is an aluminum running board with a louvered Growler tread across its full 7" width, carried on vehicle-specific brackets along the rocker panel. On the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra CrewMax, the boards run beneath the door openings, so there is a flat 7" platform wherever you climb in. Features

A Full 7" Tread
The step surface is 7" wide from end to end, so a boot lands flat instead of rolling off a tube. That width is what makes the Growler Fleet feel like a work platform rather than a styling piece.

Louvered Growler Tread
Raised louvers run across the top of the board and give a sole an edge to grip in rain, mud or snow. It is N-Fab's Growler pattern, the same tread used on the Growler hitch and rear van steps.

Aluminum Construction

N-Fab warrants the Growler Fleet running boards for life against defects in materials and workmanship, covering the boards, the brackets and the welds, and warrants the powder-coat finish for five years. Both terms belong to the original purchaser, on the vehicle the product was first installed on, and they do not transfer if the vehicle is sold.

Free shipping. This part ships by ground carrier as an oversize parcel, in a long carton rather than on a pallet.

Inspect on delivery. A long carton takes knocks in transit, so look it over while the driver is there and note any crushed ends or punctures on the delivery record. Unpack it the same day and check the parts list: a bent bracket or a short hardware bag reported in the first days is a quick replacement.

Returns. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. N-Fab charges a 20% restocking fee on any product returned without a defect, and an N-Fab representative has to confirm a defect in fit, form or function before a return is authorized, so please contact us before shipping a part back. Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Do I have to drill into my truck to install these?

On most applications, no: the brackets bolt to existing mounting points with the hardware in the box. A handful of applications do call for drilling, for example a hole through the pinch weld for one bracket, and on those listings the Installation tab says so plainly. Check that tab for your part number before you order.

Will work boots grip the tread when it is wet?

That is what the louvered Growler tread is for. The raised louvers give a sole an edge to catch in rain, mud or snow, and the 7" width means your whole foot is on the board. No step surface is grip-proof on ice, so use normal care in winter.

Will aluminum boards hold up to road salt?

Aluminum does not form red rust the way mild steel does, which is a real advantage in salt states, and the textured black powder coat on top is warranted by N-Fab for five years. Salt can still attack the coating over time, so rinsing the boards through the winter will keep them looking right longer.

How much weight can the boards hold?

N-Fab does not publish a load rating for the Growler Fleet, so we do not quote one. The boards are sold as a step for getting in and out, and every application is carried on its own set of brackets.

Do they come as a pair, and is the hardware included?

Yes. Every order is two boards, driver and passenger side, with the vehicle-specific brackets and the hardware kit. Nothing else is needed to fit them.

Can the boards sag or shift over time?

A board that is fully tightened stays where it is set. The common cause of a board that settles is hardware left short of full torque, so tighten everything once the boards are aligned and check the bolts again after the first few hundred miles.
