A mild lift, done right
An SST kit gives the vehicle more height at both ends and room for a larger tire package, while the parts stay matched to its factory suspension. It is the step between a simple leveling kit and a full big lift.

An SST kit gives the vehicle more height at both ends and room for a larger tire package, while the parts stay matched to its factory suspension. It is the step between a simple leveling kit and a full big lift.
ReadyLIFT builds each SST kit around one suspension design, so spacers, brackets and arms locate where that vehicle needs them. The fit is specific rather than universal.
ReadyLIFT explains how its bolt-on SST lift kits add lift and room for larger tires while keeping the factory ride.
A lifted stance with bigger tires still has to commute, tow and haul. SST kits keep a small rear rake so the vehicle sits right with weight in the bed or on the hitch.
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
A leveling kit raises only the front to cancel the factory rake. An SST kit lifts the front and the rear, so the whole vehicle gains height.
The tire size ReadyLIFT lists for this exact vehicle is in the specifications on this page. Tire dimensions vary by brand, so test fit your wheel and tire combination before mounting.
Yes, plan on one. ReadyLIFT notes the vehicle may need an alignment after installation, and headlamp aim should be checked at the same visit.
Changing ride height can shift camera, radar and sonar aim. ReadyLIFT says to check and recalibrate these systems after installation, and some vehicles need dealer tools to do it.
ReadyLIFT recommends a certified mechanic and says to read the instructions fully before starting. The install sheet and ReadyLIFT's estimated install time for this exact kit are on this page.
ReadyLIFT's warranty excludes damage from off-road abuse on its lift kits. Its Jeep SST and Terrain Flex kits are the exception and remain covered in recreational off-road use.

It still has the stock feel. Nice height. Last truck had over 7" of lift with 35s and wanted to go a little more conservative on this. There is about 1/2" to 3/4" rake still as I did add the Readylift rear blocks. It would have about 1/4" squat if I didn't. Started installing myself and ran into trouble getting the springs collapsed enough to get them off the strut. Easy up to that point. Had a shop finish it for me. Ya need a really good spring compressor. The one I bought was not gonna cut it. I did the Gear Pivot wheels, 20x10 -19 offset with 33/12.5/20 Toyo RT. Tire came out shorter than 33" in height. Kinda wish they were a tad taller. There is a welded bracket in the back side of the front wheel well that has 4 bolts and I removed it. It was only used for 1 screw holding the carpet back. I used wire ties through the existing hole to a hole in the inner fender. No rub what so ever.
I bought this a couple weeks ago and i just install on my 2020 TB i put 295 70 18 nittos and look really good no rubs
Gave the truck the stance it should have came with from the factory sits better and looks more aggressive running 285/75/18 nitto recons with a quarter inch spacer and no rub at all control arm or inner wheel whell I highly recommend completely changed the truck and personally feel it rides better than factory
Fits perfect and instructions easy to follow. This does require a strut spring compression tool so just keep that in mind.
I got this for my 2022 GMC Sierra AT4. I have no rubbing at all Wheels --- 20x9.5 +15mm offset Tires --- 35x11.50r20
Got this on my 2022 gmc at4 running 35/12.5/20 with a 0 offset
Got the 2” Readylift installed this week by a local shop. Couldn’t be happier, I love the way it sits now. Bigger tires and new wheels next ✔️
Such an easy lift to put in directions we’re very easy and helpful would totally recommend this product to anyone
I added the SST 2 inch kit to my 2021 1500 AT4. The quality looks pretty good and the ride is perfect. My issue is when I hit bumps, you can really feel it in the rear. I've had multiple alignments and the ride is just ok. Not better than the factory ride, so I may have to try longer rear shocks to see if that helps. If not, may take them off. Good quality, but not my type of ride quality.
I chose the Ready Lift SST for my 2021 Trail Boss and could not be happier. It looks great, rides smooth, my 34" tires no longer rub, and it still fits in my garage and most parking ramps. That's why it's the perfect lift!
2021 AT4 Love this kit!!! Love the stance my truck has now and was able to run larger tires. Went up to a 275/65R20 (34x11R20) struck w the same width just a little taller since I’m running the stock wheels. Only issue I had was I got the kit overnighted and the box came destroyed and missing hardware but customer service sent them to me the next day. Overall very happy with my purchase!
Just had the SST Lift Kit installed on my brand new 2021 GMC 1500 AT4. Had factory 20” rims powder coated with Nitto Ridge Grappler 11.5x35’s, less aggressive side out. No trimming and no rubbing, more than enough room on this rim. Ride completely unchanged but look completely transformed. You never know what the finished product will be, but with the SST lift and the other modifications, my expectations were exceeded.
This ReadyLift 2" Lift Kit really makes my 2020 Trail Boss look tough and ready for anything. A shop installed the front portion of the kit and it went well. No issues with how the truck handles. I installed the rear portion of the kit and that wasn't too bad at all. I am very satisfied with this kit. Thanks!
Everything is with the product is top notch, The only issue I have is that the rear shocks are now over extended and top out. You hear it when you hit big bumps.
Just had this installed on my 2019 Trail Boss. Love the way it sits! Very smooth ride as well! 20x9 +1 Fuel Rebels 285/65R20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers (No Trimming Needed)
Bought it a few months ago but was well worth the wait! Very nice set up and still fits in the garage
This is perfect to level the trail boss or use the 2" block for the rear like I did do the rear end doesn't squat when you have any kind of weight in the back or pulling the trailer. The rear end is the easy part. Had to borrow a spring compressor from advanced auto for front end. My tires are toyo open country AT3, 275/65/r20 on 20x9 rims with 1+ offset so 34.1" tire and with this lift I have just the slightest rub on front drivers tire. Just a heads up for anyone looking for the same info I was at one time.
I installed this with a friend and it was pretty easy for the most part. Be 100% sure you have your struts reassembled in perfect alignment else you'll be tearing them down and rebuilding. I gave 2 stars because my new tires rub. I ordered smaller tires than advertised to avoid any chance at rubbing but the back of the tire still rubs the gigantic ball joint on the new control arm. The max size of safe tire for this setup is reported to be 295/65/20 on stock 0 offset, which equates to 35.1" x 11.6". I mounted 285/65/20 which is only 34.6" x 11.2" but they still rub. I specifically ordered smaller tires to stay below the recommended sizer and they still rub I added 1.5 inch wheel spacers to get further away from the ball joint and am now rubbing on the fender. I tried 2 inch spacers to fix this, and it now just rubs on a different part of the fender. Trying to source a 1 inch spacer now t
2020 TrailBoss LT SST Plus 2” Lift Kit 285/70/18 Trail Grapplers on stock wheels. 1/2” wheel spacers to avoid any contact b/w front tire and new upper control arm. Didn’t need it, but it’s a piece of mind for me. Had my local shop install it and align. Great ride, factory or better. No rub at either full lock or up and down driveways. Fantastic look. If you are on the fence about this one, this is your sign - do it.
Have had it on for about 3 months and love it! Great stance and gave mw the extra clearance I wanted for off-roading. I also have 295/70 Nitto Trail Grapplers on stock 18" rims. Put a 1/2" hub centric spacer up front to give a little more clearance from the UCA.
Very happy with the results. Did not lose the factory ride.
Installed last month. Happy with the result. I want to install 20x10, -25 offset. What size tire can I run on this without rubbing?
At first I didn’t use the spacer but there was an issue with alignment it was pulling to the right. So we pulled them out threw in the ready lift spacers in the back and it was aligning perfect
Been running this lift for about 6 months now. Strong ride, with little play, and no issues to report. Running a 285/70/18 Nitto Ridge Grappler on a -12 vision wheel. Love the look and actually buying some 35 Nitto ridge grapplers for an even better look within the next month. Recommend this to anyone looking for a little bit of a lift, with little rake and a smooth/strong ride!
Kit worked perfect! No change to ride, but Gave my truck the perfect stance.
I have not installed the kit yet but the upper controls are made very well. All of the parts included in the SST kit look to be of high quality. Installing myself this weekend!
Finally found the setup I wanted. Installed 20x9 positive 1 offset with 33x12.5x20 Toyo RT Tires. AWSOME ride. no rubbing
Installed this last week on my 2020 GMC AT4. Fairly straight forward with good instructions and a good YouTube video out there. Obviously need to be careful compressing the springs but other than that, no issues. I'm very pleased with the results!
Purchased this lift kit and installed in 5 hours on 2020 Chevy LT Trail boss. Good directions, as described. Ride quality is better than factory. Was able to slide Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35x12.5x18 w 2" wheel spacers
I’m on Day 2 with this lift and really loving the look and feel of it on my 2020 GMC AT4. . I'm very pleased with the results! Installed by 4WD Parts and it actually seems to drive smoother with the new tires then it did stock. Was able to re-use the stock rims and added 34” Yokohama Geolander X-AT tires. No rubbing at all but sits a little higher from lift and tires.
I have about 3000 miles on the 2" sst lift with no problems at all. The shop that installed the kit said it was high quality and was a easy install. The ride is as good as stock and looks great. I'm running 295/70/18's on factory wheels with no rubbing whatsoever.
Purchased, had installed at shop. The lift height is perfect for me. Had now for over a month with over 1k miles. No major changes to the ride quality, and sits perfect. Using 295/70/18 on 20x9 wheels 0 offset. Minor rubbing at full turn.
This kit looks amazing on my Trail Boss. It sits noticeably higher now. I installed the kit myself and the directions they provide are clear and easy to follow. I am now running 35x12.5R20s on a total 4 inch lift. My rims are 20x9s with a 0 mm offset, however I added 1.5" spacers to stick the tires out even more. They sit about 3 inches past the fender line and it really balances out the truck nicely. Without the spacers there was a very minimal rub only at full lock. To run the spacers, I trimmed the first wall part of the mudflap and with the spacers there is only a small touch at full lock now which I have no problem with. The truck rides fantastic, even better than stock and is super stable around turns. Best thing is I still fit in my car wash (monthly subscription) which has a 7 ft clearance. Parking garage wise I believe it will be tight fit, especially with speed bumps for the 7
Great lift kit. Yea I’d love to go higher but the readylift is just too easy and affordable
Bought my Trail Boss in June and waited for the right kit to show up on the market. It took about 4 hours to install and went just as planned. Add some Method 18x9 wheels with Toyo Open Country R/T 285/75 R18. Works and looks great!
I bought this kit about a month ago and overall very happy! I've installed the lift to its entirety. I do recommend installing the rear blocks. Given the additional 1" lift in the rear, the front will sit unnoticeably lower. The slight rake does not compromise the factory set directional shine of the headlights. Also the aerodynamics will be less effected. My kit did come with 2.5" bump stop extensions for the rear. With the install of theses extensions it seems my rear travel decreased. I also had to purchased longer bolts to accommodate them because the ones supplied in the kit are too short.
If you have the right tools, it’s an easy install and can be done in 3 hours, not pushing yourself. Just waiting on the opportunity to get new wheels and tires but even with the stock wheel and tire combo, it doesn’t look as enough to worry about. I also found this lift and order it early Aug and was told I wouldn’t have it until the end of the month. I got it a week earlier, which was nice! Great job guys.
Everything came in within 2 weeks. The install took no time and had barely any setbacks. Ride quality isn’t affected at all.
Trail Boss Plus 2.0" SST Lift Kit, with Fuel tactic 18x9-0 offset, and Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/R18. I am very happy with the outcome of this lift. Shipping was timely. Components went in easily & were very good quality. The ride after installing the lift and tires was exactly the same as before it was installed. I have done some major suspension lifts on other vehicles where I lost factory ride quality, so I am very happy I chose this Readylift kit. Side note: There was easily more room for the 35" tires Readylift indicated could be installed. I just like a little more space in my wheel wells.
This kit is perfect and exactly what I was looking for my 2019 Chevy Trail Boss LT. The ride is so smooth and it was the exact height I wanted for my truck. After contemplating over the tire size I wanted to run for awhile, I decided to shoot for 35x12.50's and let me tell you ZERO regrets. Wasn't sure what type of rubbing I would face, but with a 20x9 wheel with a +1 offset, I have the smallest amount of rubbing on my wheel well liner and only at full luck. Probably not even bad enough to do any modifications. Super happy with my new setup and my tires stick out at about 1-1.5 inches from truck which was the exact look I was going for. Pics may look like my front is higher than rear, but I was parked on a slop. I did add the 3 inch block in the rear and truck is basically sitting perfectly level when on flat surface.
I’ve had the kit installed for about 1000 miles so far. Truck rode like factory with the stock tires. As expected, the ride got a little more stiff once I put the load E tires on. I Installed the front in around 3 hours. It made the truck completely level all the way around. I decided not to replace the rear blocks and keep the level stance. The CV angles look to be maxed out, fingers crossed no issues arise. Seems a little expensive for what it was, but all parts appeared well made. I was able to fit 35x11.50R20 on stock wheels with a little trimming. I had to use a 1/4” wheel spacer to clear the new upper control arm.
Had the 2" SST installed onto my AT4 along with 285/75/18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Truck rides absolutely great and these 35's clear with zero rubbing when used with stock AT4 18" wheels. My concern while researching was what tire size i could go with while retaining clearance within the fender limitations and the new upper control arms Readylift provides with their kit. They clear at all steering angles with a finger width or so between the UCA. Overall very happy. Makes the truck sit at the perfect height and retains the functionality of the truck.
I have had this kit for a about 6 months and the trucks been riding great haven't lost any comfort in the ride. I recently got wheels with a -12 offset and 35 inch mud terrain tires and they fit perfectly (trimming needs to be done). I was worried the upper control arm would rub, but they surprisingly have more room with then the stock wheels and tires. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a TRAILBOSS. Tires are 35x12.5R18 Glatdiator comp M/T with Method wheels 18 and -12 offset By the way the readylift amazing customer service. They are quick to respond with any question or issues you may have. I wish more companies where this helpful!
This kit is great. Much better than the other kits out there that just provide basic spacers. U get what you pay for. I will say, install was a bit more difficult than most people seem to let on. Compressing the springs was quite a challenge for an at home spring compressor. I’m sure using a large free standing spring compressor would make the job much easier but I have to believe most people don’t have those in their garage. You really have to get that spring compressed tightly for the strut to fit back in enough to screw it back down. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. It took me almost 6 hours with help to get everything put on. I love how it turned out and couldn’t be happier with the results
I just recently put the +2 lift on my 2019 Chevy trail boss. I’m curious to know I’m going to be doing 20 inch factory replicas and was wondering if a 285 tires would fit with no rubbing the people I’m buying the wheels From said that the 285 is going to rub is this true? I was going to do 285’s on oem trail boss replicas believe they are 20x9 with a +15 offset
This is a great lifting kit come with everything made it very easy to install and the truck rides a lot better !!
Great lift kit have no complaints gives the truck a great look and drives life factory really recommend it for the trail boss
Easy installation with proper tools and little mechanical knowledge. Great fit. Didn’t use the back blocks. Truck looks great
