ReadyLIFT explains this product line and what it changes on your truck.
Straight answers on specs, fit and support
A leveling kit raises only the front to cancel the factory rake. An SST kit lifts the front and the rear, so the whole vehicle gains height.
The tire size ReadyLIFT lists for this exact vehicle is in the specifications on this page. Tire dimensions vary by brand, so test fit your wheel and tire combination before mounting.
Yes, plan on one. ReadyLIFT notes the vehicle may need an alignment after installation, and headlamp aim should be checked at the same visit.
Changing ride height can shift camera, radar and sonar aim. ReadyLIFT says to check and recalibrate these systems after installation, and some vehicles need dealer tools to do it.
ReadyLIFT recommends a certified mechanic and says to read the instructions fully before starting. The install sheet and ReadyLIFT's estimated install time for this exact kit are on this page.
ReadyLIFT's warranty excludes damage from off-road abuse on its lift kits. Its Jeep SST and Terrain Flex kits are the exception and remain covered in recreational off-road use.

We've installed 2 of these on our 2015 and 2021 Toyota 4 runners. If you upgrade from ugly factory no grip stock tires to larger such as 285/70R/17. You'll need this kit to keep the tires from rubbing on the vehicle. You should also install 1.25" wheel spacers. The final result is a very nice looking lifted 4 runner. Did not appear to change the driving performance of the vehicle either. You'll maybe want some side step rails as the vehicle as the kit will make your vehicle bit higher off the ground, which is a good thing. In most cases this kit is good for a 4 runner max tires size of 285 on 17" rims. Anything bigger and you'd have to do an expensive shock type lift. The two attached photos show before and after kit installation. Now we can drive our vehicles off pavement ;)
We finally got our lift installed and while it wasn’t the absolute easiest process it was definitely doable and makes a huge difference. My expedition looks SICK!
Straight forward instructions and install. Took 2.5 hours start to finish. Went to alignment shop after and alignment was still dead on. Couldn’t ask for an easier lift to put in.
Bought this for my 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport and it’s perfect. Gave me a great level and hight to add new wheels/tires.
Super happy with the outcome. Maintains the factory ride and drivability. No issues with rubbing, even with the factory auto running boards. Sitting on 275/70R18 Falken A/T3 and Method MR306 +18 offset. Highly recommended.
Great quality and the installation was fairly easy, I would recommend 2 people. Added the perfect amount of lift. Adds so much to the truck, especially with the aftermarket rims and tires I put on.
Great lift for the price.
I bought and installed this kit 10 months ago and I am so far very pleased with it. It took me 8 hours to install by myself in my driveway and I would say I have basic mechanics tools and moderate experience. I put it on my 2012 Ram 2500 and I am able to have 35” tires but not quite the full steering capability as they rub when it’s hard over either way. The only thing I had to get was an alignment as the steering wheel was off to one side after the install. I would highly recommend this as it’s extremely good value.
Working with a customer, we found this was the only lift kit on the market that was compatible with CCD equipped trucks. The only reason why it doesn't have a 5 star review is because Ready Lift doesn't have any options for centering the rear wheels in the wheel well. They need to come up with longer, or adjustable rear links. The rear tire is so far forward that you won't be able to get much larger of a tire. Luckily there is another brand that has options for the rear end, so we had to go that route.
Looked around different brands and found that this kit from Readylift was a complete kit. Other kits had some of the parts listed but never all the complete parts. Easy install, great directions, and did not change or affect the ride quality. No vibrations whatsoever.
2WD 2018 Ford Expedition Great lift to fit 35s Falken LT285/75R18 Tire, Wildpeak A/T
Ready lift 3" kit for Ford Expedition required a few jacks but the instructions were easy to follow and everything fit as described.
The quality of the product is great and everything fit very well once I figured out the installation. The instructions are step by step with pictures which is great. However there is no instructions on what bolt goes to which part and some have no explanations of where they go such as the caster adjustment bolts and brake line extensions.
Just got mine put on last night, late. Need to drive yet but looks great and easy install
Got the results that i was wanting, and it made my truck look even better
I bought this kit about 6 months ago. Love the looks of it with 285/65/R17.
Exactly what I was envisioning I wanted my truck to look like. This is an absolute phenomenal product and I can't imagine having anything else. The handling, onroad/offroad ride quality, fit, and price was outstanding. I installed this product with 35" Nitto Ridge Grappler tires and the truck looks very sexy!
Only 6 of the 18 nuts included the kit were correct. Rear studs on kit were M10-1.25 and all the nuts were M10-1.5. Instructions state M10-1.50 as well.
This is my second expedition with this kit, I’m running a 22x10 Moto metal with -24 offset with some 285/55r22 nitto trail grappler tires. I did some major cutting and moving the inner splash shield in the front wheel well to make them fit but they now do and don’t rub. I own and run Superior Off-Road in Gresham, Oregon and highly recommended Readylift suspension lifts.
Bought the kit, installed, no issues other than finding a way to run a 10ply tire with factory 22" wheels. After a few failed attempts at tire sizes was able to get 285/50R22 Nitto Ridge Grapplers underneath it while keeping the factory 22's. Not alot of help on the interweb, but with the 285/55R22 ridge grapplers an the use of 1/4" hubcentric wheel spacers absolutely no trimming or rubbing. Ride quality with the factory magnetic ride system is fantastic. Was a awesome vehicle before now it's a head turner.
Had this installed on my 2021 Max Limited. looks nice with factory rims and 285/45/22 will change the tires soon.
Install took some time as my top hats were pretty corroded after just 25k miles but all in all it was definitely worth the work. Turned out great! Heads up, you will need a diff drop for this lift to not bind the front CV axles in 4wd.
Bought this lift for 2018 4runner and love it. Bf goodrich 285x65x18 +1
Kit went on with ease, looks awesome. Was able to squeeze some 285/55/22s on it with 22x10 -24 offset XD Outbreaks. Deff was some major cutting and trimming but got the look I was going for with no rub.
Just had it installed and it transformed ordinary to Awesome! Smooth ride at highway speeds and clears my 35s with no rub.
Great product. Everything fit as described with minimal extra cut outs in wheel wells in 2002 gmc 2500hd denali. Gives a great stance and many compliments.
The kit is a solid but simple design. I do take my truck off road so the extra 3" will help eliminate some of the skid plate bumps. Given 3" in the front and 1" in the rear, I'm sure the approach angle has increased, but with less rack, the departure angle might decrease a tad, but I have no way of measuring those to be sure. I do agree with Nick who reviewed these earlier. The simplest way to install, is to disconnect the sway bar link, loosen the upper control arm bolt and remove the lower control arm bolts (mark the cam/pin location on the bolt and the nut washer for reinstall). Certainly saved quite a bit of unneeded disassembly in my (and Nick's opinion). Same for the rear, leave your tires on, don't disconnect the shock... just remove the u bolts, use the factory jack and raise the truck using the frame under the passenger door until you get the room needed to the spacer. Lower…
We have installed a number of these kit. Our customers love how the trucks ride and looks once the kit is installed.
I bought this about a year or two ago and really like it, made my car look good an also ride good.
Installed on a 2013 Tundra, took some time to do it but its a great kit, only downside is the tires I went with rub (even went 1 size smaller than recommended by ReadyLift for this kit), installed 295/60r20 on a 20x9 wheel and fronts rub on the front side and backside of the inner fender.
The lift was very easy to install even with just one person with no lift and doing it all with jackstands and a jack
Had these installed on my wife's 20' Max. We go to the Padre Island National Seashore every summer, and I got tired of having to stop after about 20-30 miles down the coastline. This added that extra couple inches I was looking for to clear some of the more moderate areas of beach. You can tell that it has been lifted when getting into it, but if you're just walking by the car you can't tell unless it's next to another Expedition (see photo). It says 3" in the front, but after putting about 100 miles on them it's more like 2.25" (still no complaints). Waiting for about another 10k miles to get larger tires (I'm cheap and if i don't have to spend it I won't right now).
So far so good. Just installed the kit myself. Gave It the stance I was looking for. Wasn’t too bad to put on, instructions could be a little more detailed etc. Just put 35x12.50x20 MT’s on stock wheels with no issues.
Great kit, pretty easy with some knowledge of cars or a mechanic buddy and a lift to make it quicker. Only issue was getting swaybar links in. Best option is to put wheels back on and drop weight on the control arms and the links slide in. Other than that super easy.
Excellent kit for Ram 2500 on 37's with factory wheels. No rubbing you get full turn radius and the ride is pure comfort. Also best part is no need to pay all that money for standard lift and then have to add wheels to go with it. Will defiantly buy this kit again in the future.
Very easy install with lift and a rolling jack to get the sway bar link and coil back into place due to the angle difference once spacer is installed in front. Back took about 30 mins and the front about 3 hours. Overall very happy with the change. Note: tire fitment size was able to install 33x12.5 with factory rim just fit
Overall quality of parts seemed excellent, I have been riding on it for a few weeks now and the driving experience has minimally changed. My only issue with it is the instructions on the kit could be simplified. The included instructions want you to loosen or remove most of the front suspension to pull the strut assembly. However, you can remove the lower control arm eccentric bolts fully and achieve the clearance needed reducing install time. Just make sure to mark the bolt positions and get a full alignment afterwards (which you want to do anyways). With all things considered its a quick and fairly easy install that greatly improves the look of the truck.
I bought the Expedition 3/2 lift for my 2020 Lincoln Navigator and love it. Just the right lift and the ride is the same as stock.
Quality kit that gave me exactly the height I needed for my new tires and wheels.
Great packaging and instructions. I am more impressed with the ride quality. Handles just like stock. 10/10.
The perfect 3/2 leveling kit on the market Thanks READYLIFT
Install was super easy. I insalled the lift and went with fuel vapor rims 20x10 with -18 offset and trail grappler 35x12.50 R 20 it cleared with minor trimming to the fender liner. The down side is there is severe sway at highway speed even after I got the alignment done. If I cant figure out how to correct it I will be uninstalling it and going a different route
I've had this leveling/lift kit on my 2016 tundra for 3 years now. And it still handles and rides like brand new on and off road but with a better look!
Ready lift worked great, had it put on at a local car/truck accessory store. Found out I had a torn buffer so I needed to get upper control arms in addition to this kit. Be aware of this with older vehicles that you may have to get additional items for a simple lift.
Awesome product....really improved look and handling...
Installed on my 2020 Tacoma TRD Off Road without any problems. Looks amazing and rides better than ever! Had a mechanic install and do alignment in 3 hours!!
2013 Expedition EL 2WD limited with power steps. Put this lift on, followed up with a 305/70/R17 (34’s) truck rides the same as stock! Great product! Did require a slight modification to power steps, due to the tire size. Not quite enough clearance at tire radius. Very simple fix, the steps are aluminum. Blue painters tape for a straight edge/protective barrier, and a skil saw with metal blade. Remove the plastic end cap, Took approx 3/4” in off of the front of the step only, put plastic cap back on. Rear of tires clear step by a long shot. Thanks Ready Lift! Good to go!
Perfect stance to fit some offset shoes on your beast
I bought this kit for my fj crusier was going along nicely until it comes to the part of installing the "sway bar spacer" , the kit did not come with any of the plates for this and I'm wondering if maybe it's only the 4 runners that need the spacer ?
I started to install this kit for my 2019 Ford Ranger 4X4 only to find out that after taking all the stuff apart according to the directions that it still would not install properly. The only way to get this kit to install properly without overstretching things is to remove the lower control arm from the frame. When I did the second side I realized you litterly only need to remove your wheels and remove the lower control arm from the frame and that takes about 20 minutes. So much more simple then the directions they gave. If readylift wants to call me for proper and 10X more simple instructions I'll be happy to provide the info. Besides that the quality is great and my truck rides great. I would leave a better review if it didn't take me 7 hours to do the lift because of instructions that didn't work.
I bought this lift a little over a week ago. The customer service rep was a super nice guy and the lift came in just a couple of days. I am no mechanic, but felt I could do this myself. The installation really wasn't that bad, it just took a little while. Over all this is a great inexpensive way to lift your Tacoma. The only downside, which is why I gave it 4 stars, is the instructions. With such good products, Readylift could use some help with their installation instructions. Go to YouTube and find some installation videos first. Results: I am still running stock 18" wheels, now with 285/65/18. I removed the air dam before adding the tires, but no trimming needed. The tires rub a little on the UCA's at full turn. I will be replacing the stock UCA's soon. Final Conclusion: Excellent product. Awesome transformation. Pitiful instructions.
Would have gave it 5 stars but they sent the wrong size nuts with my kit. Had to order a second set after seeing reviews of the issue. After getting the right nuts it only took me a few hours to install. Now the issue I'm having is the angle of my upper control arm is so Severe it's resting on my springs..looking for longer control arms now.
Lift is manufactured well, installation of rear spacers was a b!8%h as well as getting the struts back in. Otherwise, I do suggest you have a long bar for leverage or a suspension "hockeystick". Its no fault of ready lift its just the effect of the stock geometry & mounting points, truthfully 3/2" is too much, though if you can get her done, it looks awesome. Buy the upgrade spherical joint upper control arms to correct the geometry & allow for proper alignment....I never wanna do those rears again & no theres not room for spring compressors...
Great product and comes with detailed instructions for installing it yourself!!
I'm pretty satisfied with the product, but I'm disappointed my 285, 50, 22 as advertised has rubbing issues. Driving in a straight line is perfect but making turns is excruciating. I'll have to do a cab mount chop soon so I don't have any more issues turning the wheel
I'm definitely enjoying my new lift. Looks great and I know that ready lift makes quality parts. Although when they say "easy to install" I'm not sure for who? Possibly for a full time mechanic or someone that is always working on there truck. But if your the guy that's thinking this would be a perfect time to use my new craftsmen ratchet set I got for Christmas,Think again. My brother in law is a mechanic and brought over a lot of his tools and without his knowledge there is No way I would have been able to do this myself. It still took us about 5 hours. The directions are virtually useless. They are not step by step instructions. They are way too vague for someone thats not a mechanic or someone that has done a lift kit before. Hope this helps.
Looks good rides pretty much the same.
