Straight answers on specs, fit and support
No. It raises the front only so the vehicle sits level. For height at both ends, look at ReadyLIFT's SST lift kits or add a rear block or spacer kit.
The tire size ReadyLIFT lists for this exact vehicle is in the specifications on this page. Tire dimensions vary by brand, so test fit your wheel and tire combination before mounting.
Yes, plan on one. ReadyLIFT notes the vehicle may need an alignment after installation, and headlamp aim should be checked at the same visit.
Changing ride height can shift camera, radar and sonar aim. ReadyLIFT says to check and recalibrate these systems after installation, and some vehicles need dealer tools to do it.
ReadyLIFT recommends a certified mechanic and says to read the instructions fully before starting. The install sheet and ReadyLIFT's estimated install time for this exact kit are on this page.
Leveling removes the factory rake, so the rear can sit lower than the front under a heavy load. ReadyLIFT's rear block and spacer kits add back rear height if you tow often.

With this kit compatible with a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Awd
the reason i purchased this kit was because no one else included shoch extensions, & because you cant buy them seperate.there was another brand i liked better and would have been easier to adjust. worked out great and all parts made well.
I liked them enough to buy them twice. First set about five years ago for an 03 Silverado. This set for my 07 Silverado Classic. Much less scary to install the second time around as you know what to expect.
Love the new readylift keys! Got about 2" out of the front and still can go higher! This is a must for anyone that's wants to raise up the front a little!
i purchased the ready lift front leveling kit, and the rear blocks. they really make my truck look better. Paired with my 3inch suspension lift and 33x12.50r17 tires really makes my truck stand out. excellent product. The front leveling kit was easy to install, the torsion keys are a solid peice of material. Great Product
I put this in by myself, in my driveway, in about 2-1/2 hrs. The first side took 2 hrs, the second took 30 min once I knew exactly what I was doing. Couple problems though. For one, seems to me that all you really need is the shock extensions. Torquing the torsion bars to the point that gives you your desired lift is going to be the same regardless of which keys youre using. They seem unnecessary to me. The kit is definitely durable, but also definitely overpriced. Also, if you have an '06, both Ready Lift and a local mechanic told me these trucks come stock with one side of the front end 1" higher than the other. Seems ridiculous to me, but I had to raise my passenger side key significantly higher than the driver side in order to get it to sit level. So the replacement torsion key bolt was too short on that side which meant I had to stick with the stock bolt. Overall though, it was easy
This product had the right price and took me and a buddy 2 hours to install the truck looks great and my auto shop was able to get it into allignment. I installed 33 11.5 and there very little rubbing.
Installation was not too difficult, had to work to get the ball bearing press around the exhaust pipe, but not bad. Truck sits level. The ride is a little firmer, but part of that i expect are the larger tires I put on and that I had to extend the adjustment bolts nearly all the way in (for maximum lift). Several people have complimented that the truck looks much nicer sitting level with the slightly larger tires - I fit 285/65 Open Countrys on it. I did not have to cut the inner apron and there is no rubbing.
I have a 2006 chey 4-door 4x4. I was not able to find the clamp they recomended, but i was able to use a bis c-clamp. Use a solid steel one, cause i use a cast and broke it with ease. It is pretty physicaly hard to install, but simple. Take your time and adjust the keys left to right to get it level, too. John Texas
This kit gave my SUV a nice level stance i get good compliments on how it looks plus it keeps the smooth factory ride. Will buy another for my truck.
When i got my hands on the right part I installed it in no time, a little over an hour.. make sure you get a front end aliegnment after unstalling these!!!
The lift is great. Looks are not everything but with this product you get it all. looks, handling, a great ride, and can still put the tires that fill the wheel wells. That should have come with the trucks in the first place.
This will take care of that silly 60ies hot rod look to your truck. It lifted the front of my Avalanche 2 plus inches to allow for 32" wheel tire combo. No rubbing or modifications.
the torsion keys are of great quality and the truck now looks great. the ride is the same as stock and you really get a sense of being in a higher truck.
the installation of the ready lift really seemed easy.as for the availibility of the tool required it was easier to take it in to the gm dealer and pay for one hour of labor, the alignment has to be set anyway.my truck now has the stance it should have had from the factory...doug price
I have a 2006 GMC Crew Cab 4x4. I installed these in about an hour. Very simple, remove the old keys, replace with new ones. I got 2.5 inches in the front. Looks great now that it's level. I feel sorry for the guy that disassembled his front end, you didn't need to do that.
The kit was in-expensive and easy to install (with the right tools). Took two hours and much easier on the second side. Truck sits within 1/4 of an inch (front to back) and still has the factory ride you love in a half ton. I mounted 285/70/17 Toyo Open Country AT tires on the stock rims and bot does it look good!
I tought this was one of the best lifts I have ever put on.I was only in the garage 1 hour and the truck looks and rides great.
Great kit really good price. Love the look. Easy to Install. Only thing is the shock extensions rattle alot when going over bumps, speedbumps etc. Might have to swap out for longer shocks.
> I snow plow with my vehicle and was hoping to lift the front a little to help out. The kit lifts passenger side no problem but for some reason doesn't lift drivers side as much. I found others with the same issue not sure if they were using the same kit or not.
I purchased a readylift leveling kit for my 06 chevy. I looked at the instructions and saw that they were pretty simple. I began to get under the truck to install the kit and it wouldnt work. I could not get the keys to fit right. Finally, what the instructions dont tell you is that you have to remove both front tires, upper ball joints, shocks, and the control arm. These werent that bad to remove but the instructions do not tell you to do that. Everything else was great though.
