ReadyLIFT Block Kit, full kit on a studio background: two black 5" tapered rear lift blocks with four long black U-bolts and a bag of hardware on a black background

Rake back where it belongs

A rear block kit raises the back of a leaf-spring truck so it sits right with a trailer or a loaded bed. It is the rear companion to a front leveling kit.

Factory style, solid material

ReadyLIFT blocks follow OEM designs and use cast iron or fabricated steel, so the part between axle and spring is built to carry load.

Ready to tow

Boat, camper or equipment trailer, a truck with the right rear height handles the hitch weight with a better stance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on specs, fit and support

Why add rear lift to a leveled truck?

Leveling the front removes the factory rake. A rear block kit adds some of it back, so the truck sits right once a trailer or a heavy load pushes the rear down.

Can I stack these on my factory blocks?

No. ReadyLIFT designs its kits so one block per side does the job, and it notes that stacked blocks may be illegal in some states. Follow the install sheet for your truck.

Does drive shaft type matter?

On some trucks, yes. Several kits are specific to one-piece or two-piece drive shafts or to single rear wheel trucks. Check the title and fitment on this page.

Will I need an alignment after installing it?

Yes, plan on one. ReadyLIFT notes the vehicle may need an alignment after installation, and headlamp aim should be checked at the same visit.

Does it affect driver-assistance cameras and radar?

Changing ride height can shift camera, radar and sonar aim. ReadyLIFT says to check and recalibrate these systems after installation, and some vehicles need dealer tools to do it.

Can I install it myself?

ReadyLIFT recommends a certified mechanic and says to read the instructions fully before starting. The install sheet and ReadyLIFT's estimated install time for this exact kit are on this page.
